The War of the Supernaturals Part III

"I'm sorry I'm late," Kaitlyn said and kicked the goddess' head, making her fly back.

I gave her a hug and she hugged me back. "Thank you," I cried in her chest.

"Don't thank me yet," she said with a hush.

"Everyone, listen up. Kill the gods, and you will be rewarded," Kaitlyn yelled at no one.

"Who are you talking t-" I was cut of by a series of screams.

"T-The-"

"Titans!" I was again cut off, but this time it was my mates. They're eyes glimmered with hope as they saw armored people riding on flying chariots going in for the gods.

Dust began to cover the middle of the clearing where the battle took place. It was chaos. No question that the titans are strong, but I don't think they stand against the go-

"Voodoo has fallen!" a woman yelled.

"Oceana has fallen!" a man yelled.

I felt a surge of hope rise.

We could win this.

Wait, if... Shit!

What?

Out of nowhere, a gold twirling sphere of flames threw the titans away from Howl.

His eyes were glowing beyond gold now. Gold dust covered his body and gold rays of flames traveled on his arms.

"Thank you," he said with a smirk.

Why?

Now Howl is the only one who draws power on the dark side of the moon.

What?

I looked up to my mom, she wasn't there. Would she leave us? And why?

"Now that the others are gone, I have more times more power," he said, gold sparks emanated from his hands and a blue orb appears.

"You will all-"

I didn't get to hear what he said next. My body acted on its own, shifting forms and running forward, full force on Howl.

I felt two more following me. I looked back and saw that it was Aaron and Stephen.

"You're not alone," Aaron said through the link.

"We're mates," Stephen added.

I felt my eye jerk a tear as I answered them, "We'll get through this."

I gritted my teeth and ran faster. Howl pointed his hands to us, any second now he could fire those energy spheres and it could be the end.

"Goodbye Klyde," he said with a smirk.

I continued running but closed my eyes to wait for the attack to hit me.

Again, it never came.

"You monster!" I heard a very familiar voice that made me tear up more.

"Like I'd let you!" I yelled to her.
