It was too quiet in Peter's apartement. When he first stepped foot in there, he knew something was wrong. How suddenly he felt just a little bit colder. The air around him. Just everything.

He walked into the kitchen to find a sandwich on the counter with a note from May saying "Sorry I couldn't be home. Eat that while I'm away". And Peter wondered. Without even thinking he went in the direction of her bedroom. What made him do that? Well maybe it was the horrendous handwriting. May certainly wasn't the best cook but her handwriting was always neat. Or maybe it was the sandwich, one. May always made sure that he had at least three. She found out months ago about his Spider-Manning, she knew about his fast metabolism.

Peter didn't want to go. He knew what he was going to see when he opened the door. He could smell it already. The horrendous smell of death. The dried blood on a lifeless body. He knew it all to well. The first one, he remembers as if it had happened the day before, Ben. With his new Spidey sense he was very sensitive. He will never Forget what Ben smelt like.

He slowly opened the door, preparing for what he was going to see. The first thing he spotted was the gun. It was laying directly in front of his feet, right in front of the door. He opened the door just a tad bit more. He saw parts of her favourite shirt. She must have fought. He opened the door completely but he didn't dare to open his eyes. Overcoming  the fear of what was inevitable, he opened his eyes. The first thing he saw were the ropes that held her down. Then he saw her. He saw his Aunt. His last living relative. With a bullet hole in her forehead.

After he called the police he sat down. His body slipped down the door, his face remained the same. The blank look on his face gave away what he was feeling. Absolutely nothing. His mind didn't race. His heart was hardly beating. He didn't cry. No, he didn't. He couldn't. Because he was in denial. For him, she was still alive. He closed his eyes. They were chatting next to the kitchen counter, dancing in the living room and laughing in his bedroom. She wasn't gone. She couldn't be.

Two weeks later he found himself sitting on a rooftop. Just sitting there. Still not accepting that she was gone. When some people came to pick her up he just left. He came back a day later to grab his stuff and he was gone. For the past two weeks he didn't feel anything at all. He didn't call anyone and he didn't pick up when Ned tried to call him. He didn't eat. He didn't sleep. Peter was getting out of control, and he was getting out of control fast.

Tony was worried. He hasn't heard from his Spiderling in two weeks now. Usually he would either drop by when he was swinging around or he called to ask if he could stay the weekend. So yes, tony did worry. 3 months ago he wanted him to become an Avenger but Peter all too kindly declined. Mature, Tony thought. He may be a kid but he was a smart one.

Tony settled on his couch with Pepper to watch some TV. When he switched it on, the news channel was still running from last night. Deciding that they needed to know what was Happening outside their Little world they let it on. "-since two weeks the Young Boy is missing. After the tragic homicide of his Aunt he was seen leaving home without returning ever since. Social security is trying to find him so please if you have any idea please call the number below", the TV lady said. Tony's mouth was hanging wide open because there on his suddenly too big screen was Peter Parker. Missing.

"I love you. I'm sorry", was the last thing Peter texted to Ned and MJ. He walked up. Farther than he had ever been before. It was a place anyone hardly ever visited. It was a Pretty high rock. He used to go there all the time with his parents, that's the only thing he remembered About them. And then with Ben and May. At last just with his Aunt. And now, now he was sitting on the highest part. This part was excluded from the route that you are supposed to take. There were even some bars, so that you wouldn't accidently go wrong.
