The one with the Parker Name

[Peter and MJ are both 26|May died a while ago due to sickness]

“You heard me MJ, Marry me“

It was a day like any other in their lifes. They would wake up in their apartement. They would go to work. They would come home. They would do whatever the f*ck they wanted to.

And to Peter it meant the world. After everything that has happenend MJ was there for him like no other. Of course he had Ned but after college he moved away to start his career. And Peter was so happy for him but he missed him like hell.

But Michelle, his MJ, she was there all along. They moved in together after college. Their life couldn't be better at the moment and both of them wished for it to never end.

So on a beautiful day, where the light was shining into their bedroom and the birds were chirping outside Peter couldn't help himself. He looked at her like she was an angel and so he said: “Marry me“.

Mj, still somewhat half asleep, looked at him weirdly and asked: “I'm sorry, what?“. “You heard me MJ, Marry me“, Peter said again. He was anxious for a second, anxious that she would say no and that he ruined it but she just looked at him and smiled. “Okay“, she whispered into his ear. “Okay?“, Peter asked. “Yes, okay, Parker. I'll marry you“, MJ beamed. And Peter smiled. And they were so happy.

They kept it to themselves for a while. Yes, he had already bought a ring a while ago. It was a rather impulsive purchase. He saw it and he thought about MJ. And it looked so pretty and reminded him of her, so he bought it and kept it in his sock drawer. She didn't wear it on her finger though. She got a little necklace and put it around her neck so that nobody would see.

After a while though they couldn't keep it a secret anymore so they invited Ned to their home to tell him the news.

“Oh my god guys I missed you soooo much. How've you been?“, Ned asked excited. He engulfed both of them in a big bear hug, one that only he was capable of.

“Hey man, we missed you too. We actually wanted to tell you something, that's why we called. Or rather I wanted to ask you something“, Peter smiled. “Is everything alright?“, Ned asked concerned. MJ smiled at Peter. God they loved their best friend. “Yeah Ned, everything's better than ever... Peter?“, MJ trailed off.

“Yeah. Well Ned you've been my best friend since I can remember sooo... Do you want to be my best man?“, Peter asked nervously. “What? But you're not...“, Ned started but to erase his confusion MJ held up her hand and wiggled her fingers to show the ring.

“Oh my god, guuyyyyyysssss. I'm so happy for you. And I don't even know why you had to ask. Of course I'm gonna be your best man“, Ned said excited. He was so incredibly happy for his two best friends. They talked the whole night about everything and anything. Ned stayed the night but he had to leave again in the morning.

Next they went to MJ's parents plus her two siblings. As predicted they were all super happy. They liked Peter since MJ first brought him with her so it wasn't a surprise when they were extremely supportive. She asked her sister to be her bridesmaid.

After they were at MJ's parent's house they went to the cemetery. “Hey Mom, Dad....“, Peter started. He told them that he was getting married and that they'd love MJ. She held his hand all three times. First when he told his parents. Then when he went on to Ben and May. And the last time when he visited Tony's grave. Some tears slipped down his face but he was just happy to have MJ next to him.

They day after that they went to go see Pepper and Morgan. Even though he lived two hours away they never lost contact. After Tony's death, Morgan needed her big brother and he was happy to be there for her.
