“Oh thank god Mr Stark, Mama? Mama are you there? Helllooo? Guys why isn't she answering?“
“Shit... Rogers? Are you gonna tell him?“
“Tell me what?“
“Queens? Could you swing over to me for a sec?“
“You're scaring me what's up“
“Just... Just come here“

Steve told him what happened on Vormir and Peter broke down.

Now:

It's been 3 months since Peter lost his mother. His mama spider. He hasn't been the same since then. Everyday he would wake up, walk into the kitchen to drink a glass of milk, check up on Tony and then walk back to his room.

A month ago he started school again. His routine was pretty much the same, except after checking on Tony he would walk to school and then straight home to his room. He missed her so much.

“Hey kid. I just wanted to tell you that I'll be bringing the stones back tomorrow. Just- I don't know if this is gonna be a goodbye. Some things could happen on my way so... What I wanted to say is that I'm so proud of who you are. What you've been through is tremendous but you still wake up in the morning so... Cherish it“, Steve said patting Peter on his shoulder. “Nothing is going to happen Cap. You did it before, you can do it again. Don't say goodbye“, Peter whispered.

With that Peter went to bed for yet another restless sleep.

“'Beeep, Beeep', Wakey Wakey little Spider. Time to get up for school“, FRIDAY's voice came through the ceiling. Peter groaned. He'd much rather stay at home with Steve. He didn't want to lose him too but they all thought it'd be better if Peter went to school.

Peter dragged himself out of bed, showered, brushed his teeth and put on some clothes. Then he went down for his daily glass of milk. “Morning Pete“, Tony said. “What are you- Why are... How did you get here?“, Peter blabbered happy but confused since Tony suffered from the consequences of the snap and could only lay in his bed.

“Pepper helped me out of that godawful bed. Besides... I wanted to be there when Cap left in case of an emergency“, Tony smiled. “Oh that's so great for you but...I have to leave for school now. Ugghh“, Peter groaned. His mood was set back to zero.

After wishing Cap good luck he made his way to school. Since he was living with the Avengers, Happy drove him.

He entered school and greeted Ned and MJ. “Hey loser, how are you on this fine day?“, MJ smiled, which was rare. “Uhmm... well not so fine. Steve is bringing back the stones today and I'm just worried that something might-“, Peter said but Ned interrupted him, saying: “Oh come on dude, don't be worried. He's freaking Captain America. He's gonna survive some time-traveling“.

After that they went to their first period. And then second period and third period.

It all happened in fourth period. Peter was having Spanish and he was bored out of his mind. Suddenly someone knocked on the door. The half asleep students rose from their sleeping positions. Everybody was awake again.

“Come in“, the teacher yelled. And then everybody gasped. Captain America was weeling in a weak Tony Stark. The students were surprised but even more when Peter rushed to his side. “Is everything okay? Did you hurt yourself? Do you need anything?“, Peter stumbled out.

The class was shocked when they heard Tony Stark with such a tender voice. “No kid I'm fine don't worry *chuckle* but we got a little surprise for you... Steve“, Tony asked. Steve smiled and started: “You know what I did today right? Right. So when I was on Vormir“, Peter flinched but Cap continued. “When I was there I gave the Red skull the stone back. But when I wanted to leave he stopped me. He was confused as to why I would bring such a magical thing back. And I said we didn't need it anymore“, Steve talked and talked until Tony interrupted: “The point, Stevie“.

Steve started again: “Yeah well the point is... A soul for a soul right? But what happens when you give one back?“. “Well the other would logically be given back but I don't see why that's... Wait-are you saying..“, Peter was quiet. The class was quiet, mostly because they didn't quite understand.

“I'm saying I brought your Mama back, Peter“, Steve said as he opened the door for Black Widow. Peter stared at her for a second until she walked up to him. “No you're not real I-I'm dreaming again... This can't be... You're not-“, Petter stuttered out. “I'm here baby. I'm back again. I'm really here“, Natasha cooed. This was the moment when Peter broke down and fell into her arms.

The week after that he didn't go to school. He stayed with his mom all day and night. He was so happy to have her back. And you could be certain that Black Widow's son was not even breathed at wrong in school anymore...
