For several minutes Ye Hua struggled to contain the meeting and had his Grandfather not stepped in, they may have lost a few of the leaders who rarely attended these kinds of meetings only some of them came only because they had heard that Queen Bai Qian was attending and it was those leaders who were on their feet and ready to storm out.

Leaving the meeting was unheard of and that the War God himself had fled the Parlour immediately after her departure only seemed to add weight to the gossip that surrounded those two.  It was now widely known that she had been his Seventeenth Disciple but the air between them could have cut like a knife.

It was obvious to many there that something had happened between the two, because rather than the reverence and exultation at his return, she had all but snubbed him.  Whatever was going on, they had both left behind a public display of utmost rudeness and no one was more angrier than Ye Hua.

During the entire time she was there, he had watched her furtively while reading out the agenda and the entire time he had noticed a few things that were so similar to Su Su that had he not kept himself fully in the role of Crown Prince and therefore under control, he may have stormed her out of the Parlour himself.

He still wasn't overly sure if she was his wife or just an exceptionally close look alike but there was definitely something about her that had his heart racing the moment she reentered the Parlour with Mo Yuan not far behind her.  Only she was not looking as confident as she had been when she entered while his brother also looked a little disheavlled.  In fact, one side of his face was a little red so it did not take a genius to figure out that she had slapped him.

But her arrival definitely brought the meeting back under control as the few Leaders who were in an arguement with his Grandfather settled down quickly.  But rather than return to sit beside Li Jing who had also risen to his feet, she instead moved to the side wall where her brother was still standing.

Bai Zhen knew the moment Mo Yuan roared out of the Parlour that she would be brought back, so he didn't bother to chase after her because he knew out of everyone present including his parents, that man was only one who could bring that girl to her knees.  She may have renetered the Parlour looking confident and sure of herself, but the tears in her eyes said differently but he kept his thoughts to himself as he then watched the meeting come to order and Ye Hua once again pick up where he had left off.

Though one quick glimpse in Li Jing direction had him realizing just how much of an influence she'd had over him because he was the last to sit down and for a brief moment, he along with everyone else thought he might actually follow her to the side wall.

There had been a lot of gossip about his sister and that man and some of it not so flattering, yet she had never talked of it, but seeing the way he was looking at her while also allowing his emotions to run wild despite being in a very public place, suggested that some of it at least might be true.

"Are you alright Xiao  Wu?" he whispered down into her hair while ignoring every set of eyes that were now on him.

A short sharp nod was all the answer she was going to give him and though she could feel her parents eyes on her, she purposely avoided eye contact knowing that to look at them would have the tears rolling again because she knew her father would be thoroughly disappointed in her.  And she certainly did not look at Mo Yuan who like Ye Hua was keeping an even closer eye on her now seeing as those leaders who were threatening to leave, also had her in their sights on her and none more so than the Demon Overlord.

Guotins smile grew a little wider the moment she returned.  He too had risen to his feet and was just moments away from storming out, only now seeing the less that confident leader reenter along with the red cheek of the War God, suggested that alliances between her and the Celestials was shaky in fact it was obvious to all of them that she was avoiding eye contact with that man and considering the small smile of encouragement that she had given him earlier, then he was not too bothered with whatever gossip surrounded the two.
