Chapter 3

Chapter 3: Creepy Guy, Disney Character Voice Guy, typical SnapBack Dude, and That One Tall Guy.

I grabbed my racket and water bottle, and raced out of my room, down the stairs, and out the door. My mom rolled open the door on her minivan, and I jumped in. How about that for a warm up?

I couldn't stop thinking about possible outcomes for how tennis will go today. To get my mind off of it, I turned on the radio in the car.

For the rest of the car ride, I jammed out to random pop songs.. When my mom noticed, she couldn't stop laughing. That caused me to start uncontrollably laughing as well.

Once we got there, I calmed myself down, and left my the car. I gave her a small wave as she drove away.

The building I found myself staring up at was a big, medium height, white building with a flat roof. I walked in.

Upon walking in, the first thing I saw was a tiny office to my right filled with tennis rackets, tennis balls, and tennis posters on the walls. Also, in the first room were the entrances to the boy's and girl's locker rooms, and a staircase going up in the corner.

Up the stairs was a room overlooking the tennis courts. The entrance to the room was in the corner. It was a cozy little room filled with couches, bean bag chairs, and other stuff like that. There were 6 other kids currently in the room.

One of the kids was about my height, had pale blue eyes, and had a blonde buzz-cut. He looked about 15-16 years old. He was sitting in a bean bag chair in a corner, while playing with the strings on his racket.

In another corner was a girl with short brown hair, and vibrant green eyes. The girl was pretty tall, and probably about 17-18 years old. She was slumped in another beanbag chair, diagonally across the room from the boy.

Finally, in the last corner were 4 boys. They probably all ranged from the ages 15-18. Two of them were most likely older, and looked taller. The other two looked closer to 15-16, than the taller ones who looked around 17-18.

They were all sitting on this couch that looked like one of those circle booths you find in the corners of restaurants.

One of the slightly shorter boys stuck out more to me than the others. He was cracking jokes one after another, making the group of boys be in constant laughter. His voice sounded like a prince from the Disney movies. His eyes were dark brown, and his hair was a very shiny, medium in length, medium brown. His smile was lighting up the room.

After seeing what he looked like, I decided to see what the others looked like.

One of the taller ones had dark skin, and black, very short, curly hair. He was the tallest of all of them. He didn't deem to talk much. Suddenly, I remembered that my old friend Alice was his sister. I knew that, because I used to visit Alice's house all the time.

The other tall boy had dirty blonde hair, and blue eyes. There was a SnapBack hat turned backwards on his head. Ugh, it's one of those kids. Tsk tsk, oh so typical.

Lastly, the other slightly shorter boy had dark brown hair that was pretty short and curly-ish. He also has kind of creepy blue eyes. He was taller than the Disney Character Voice Guy, but shorter than both That One Tall Guy and Typical SnapBack Man.

I looked over the people again, and caught someone smiling at me.
