Chapter 13: If You Have The Chance To Be Twinning With Your Best Friend, You Take It

Remember when Cameron wanted me to wear his football jersey to school and the football game? Yeah, that's today. I put on his jersey while getting ready, and I also put on my signature black leggings. I looked in the mirror, and couldn't help but smile. Cameron was finally kind of with me,

He saw me early in the day, and we met up. We had some adorably awkward conversations, like a regular pair of possibly crushing people would, until we split up to go to our lockers. I met up with Jenn, as per usual, and she definitely had many things to say, or squeal, when she saw my shirt.

Science class was just some boring note-taking, as it usual is. Jenn and I just whispered about dumb things the entire time. that is pretty much how the entire school day went, Jenn and I talking through all of our classes, and not caring bout learning. I mean, it is a Friday.

Once school was over, Jenn and I walked to her house, because my mom was working today. She said that we'd have to make me look perfect for this night, and I was actually kind of excited. I don't usually get excited over this kind of stuff, but today was different.

She curled my hair with her curling wand, and it looked perfect. I guess she was serious when she said perfect. She put a light amount of make-up on my face, and I'll admit it, I looked a tiny bit better than usual.

After she was done with me, I helped her pick out an outfit for the game too, since I am not going to this alone. We had to find something representing our team, the Foxes. She got black leggings, and a red spirit wear t-shirt that had our school and football team name on it. She also had tall, red softball socks, in which she used to wear when we played together in 7th grade. I also wore those socks, because when you have the chance to be twinning with your best friend, you take it.

We both put a thick black line on each of our cheeks, making it look like what football players sometimes wear. Jenn wore a bright red lipstick, but I just stuck to a pale pink. Mine and Jenn's nails got painted the same way. Our left hand painted painted with black, and our right hands painted red. On our ring fingers, we put a F of the other color for Foxes. If you couldn't tell, our school colors were red and black.

School was extremely close to Jenn's house, so we just hung out until it was time for us to go. During the walk there, Jenn informed me on some things.

"So apparently, we are playing against the Wolverines from Lincoln High."

"I feel like I know someone from there."

"I don't know, I heard they are all into, like, drug deals and stuff," Jenn admitted.

"Really?" I started, "Well, not all of them should be like that, right?"

"Most likely," she laughed. "Not everyone could be the exact same at that school."

The rest of our walk included some more dumb conversations like that one.

Once we got there, I immediately was swarmed by some of Cameron's friends. They were happy to see me, with most of their girlfriends gossiping in a nearby group, and they acted as if I was just as cool as them.

"Huh, I guess they are a bit nicer once you get to know em'," I admitted to Jenn, but when I looked over at where she was standing seconds ago, she wasn't there! My worries went away as soon as I saw her making out with the boy working at the confessions stand, but came back when I realized it wasn't her boyfriend, Jacob.

Oh yeah, I guess I forgot to mention that he's standing right over there.
