I stared at the two symbols above me. You gotta be kidding me. No? Damn. I squeezed Penelope's hand as I watched them disappear. Memories, thoughts and all the clues that were left flooded into my mind. How could I be so blind?

Then, I thought of the quest. I was supposed to do it with my sister and seven other boys. Stop a conflict between my father and two uncles. And... now I find out I'm a goddess? Maybe I could have a chance in stopping this.

My sister squeezed back and I snapped out of my daze. I got up and looked around, shocked, angry and sad faces surrounding me. Some even horrified. Then I walked toward my cabin, not looking back. I heard my sisters hurried footsteps behind me.

I opened the door and waited for Penelope to enter before I closed it. No one followed. Good. I walked into my room and saw Elektra and Draco, they didn't attend the campfire either. "Hey, you two are back early. How did it go?" Elektra asked. I sighed and took off my hood. "Horribly." Penelope held my hand tightly, then I looked at Draco who sighed. "You beat someone up, didn't you?" I laughed and shook my head.

"Trust me, you don't want to know. And to be honest, I don't want you guys to know either." They both looked at Penelope who started hiding behind me and whimpering. I followed her gaze and gasped. "Hi dad." My two siblings turned slowly to our father. Star struck.

"I see you finally found out who your mother is. Why I made you go through trials. Why I chose you two for this quest." Me and Penelope nodded. I looked down and felt my stomach drop to my feet. "Shadow, my daughter, I know you feel like soon you will be the leader of this quest, but a good one." I raised my eyebrow at him and watched Draco and Elektra go to his sides.

"You will be the leader, surely. A good one. We know you will take lead, Penelope surely will not because of her age. The boys you find will not want to take it considering the responsibility. But you, you don't want it. They don't want it. They don't have the leadership you have. We see great potential in you, as in Penelope. You just have to believe in yourself, let your personality out. Don't be afraid to be who you are."

I stared into his eyes. He was an amazing father, one I didn't know I would have. When I heard of Hades I thought deadly and evil. He wasn't. He was a nice when he wanted to be, people just have to reach out and see it.

"You have my word." He nodded, "Um... dad, a little advice for my quest?" He looked at me amused, "Don't die." I smiled and looked at my sister by my side. "Another thing, when will the quest be?" My father looked up, thinking. "Tomorrow, be prepared. Start  in New York city, you will know where to go from there." I nodded and looked at Penelope again. "You can count on us. But... what's this conflict about?" I saw him shake his head and say, "I am not sure yet. It happens in the time to come, a thing you will hopefully prevent." I nodded and smiled. Elektra and Draco looked away as he left the room.

"Um... why did you guys look away?" Their eyes widened, then they exchanged a glance. "You mean... you didn't look away?" I nodded, then they exchanged another glance. They whispered to each other and looked at me and Penelope. "Immortal?" My eyes widened. I did something wrong. Oops? "Goddess... actually. Did you know that Aphrodite is cheating on Hephaestus?"
