It was funny, why did I feel all this pain when I shadow travel. I know soon I will lose the energy to even move, then eventually crumble to dust. Pass by endless monsters, all who wanted to tear me to pieces. How did gods survive this? Did it not eventually drive them insane

Eventually my dream took my attention off of my current problems, to the darkness. I saw something move a little close, a glint of celestial bronze. I heard a creak, a groan. "Nico is just getting paranoid, if someone was on board we would have caught them on the radar or something. And if it's a ghost you would have seen it." It was a familiar voice, followed by a small feminine sigh. "Leo, just give him a chance. Once you get to know him he isn't that scary, that goes for everyone else."

Then the dream shifted.

I cried, tears polluting my vision and wetting my cheeks. I screamed in frustration. I was on the ground on my knees, a battle ragging around me. Swords clanged around me, but mortals seemed to scream "Run! Guns!" And I saw mothers fleeing the area with their children and their husbands, shooting some men with swords down. "Draco!" I screamed, then burst out crying again.

I saw three boys standing in the middle of the crowd, I noticed Draco immediately. He wore a grey cloak for some reason, skull designs on the trim. Two other boys stood there, both I remembered faintly from camp. And I knew exactly where we were as well, right in front of the empire state building.

The dream shifted again, then I was back to present time.

"Thank the gods your awake, we need to get going. Hopefully the rest are in one place, we can't go shadow traveling every single time." I nodded at Penelope and groaned as I got up, everything hurt but I was fine. I wasn't in tartarus. "Anyways, let's get going!" I said cheerfully.

We were for some reason sent in the middle of a forest again, but at least it was near the city. We emerged from the trees and whispered quietly to each other, but it was obvious that people thought we were suspicious. "Last ones are Jay, Harry and Hunter." I said, and my companions got the message that the conversation was over and went dead silent.

I heard a high pitched scream, then a more masculine one yell, "Let go of her!" I ran forwards, nearly tripping but not daring to fall. I turned a corner and was greeted by more army dudes, what was up with all the army dudes lately? I saw a girl struggling to get free of a mans grip, he was holding a gun to her head. She had brown hair, no red, no blonde, no black! Her hair seemed to shimmer different colors when the light reflected off of it, but when it wasn't shimmering with the sun it looked brown like chocolate. It seemed to go from light to dark in the sunlight, blonde at the top, then going red to brown to her ends as black. Her eyes glistened a brown like her hair in the shade. She wore a green tank top and black leather pants, a black hat on her head. She screamed and struggled against the man, not a tear in sight but she looked tough. I could make out small Feminine muscles on her arms, she didn't look like someone anyone should mess with. But he was. He was messing with someone he shouldn't be. There was a boy punching at the man with the gun, but the man didn't move, not even a little.

"Guys, come back!" He yelled, I furrowed my eyebrows and shook my head. Familiar voice. Then I caught a glimpse of his face, it was Harry! I saw a girl in black leather pants, a hat matching the girl in the army man's grip, and a pink shirt run over out of an alley. Her hair was black, a pink streak running through it. She jumped on the mans back, then screamed in his ear. Her scream was the most high pitched I had ever heard, it was impossible that her vocal cords hadn't ripped to shreds in the process, but she made it possible. I made a mental note to never underestimate anyone again.

The man dropped the girl, and his gun. The girl squirmed away, gasping from the shock of the sudden pressure of the ground underneath her. The girl in the pink grabbed the gun before the army man had even realized what was going on and pointed it at him. "Move, and I shoot." I wanted desperately to stop her, but I saw no use. He deserved it, messing with a poor, innocent child. The girl on the ground looked to be around thirteen. But, Harry and the girl in pink looked about her age to.

The man stared at the girl defiantly, "Go ahead." He had a gruff voice, possibly because he didn't use it often. Or maybe he was bluffing, maybe he had a soft voice he didn't want to show to a person who was pointing a gun at him. "My pleasure, tell the devil that Jack says hi." And with that, she shot him right in the head. The sound of the bullet echoed through the city, everything silent except the echo. Was it echoing because I was nervous? Dad did ask what my favorite thing was, and I said echoes. Maybe I was the goddess of echoes? Guess so.

"Jacklyn! That was amazing!" The girl on the ground scrambled to her feet, then grabbed Jack into a hug. "Anna, let go of me." Anna giggled, then let go. "My name is not Anna, it is Annabelle." Jack smiled and nudged Annabelle.

"We need to go, they will get worried." The girls smiled and followed Harry, once they were gone I started talking. "Ok, they look like they won't have a hard time shooting us. We should take our time with this. Plan out the details, and rule out the flaws. This needs to be perfect. I think this plan might be perfect."
