Jesse's POV
Taya begged me this morning to take a tour of the grounds and since she seems to have me wrapped around her finger I happily obliged. "You're not going to make it across all of the territory before you need to eat again princess", I tell her.
She smiles at me holding me hand, "that's okay. I'm just so excited to see your territory. Can we also go back and get my painting and sketching stuff? Assuming it's still there from when Max kidnapped me. She gives me a looks that says she's still not happy with me about that.
"All of that stuff is back in the first room that you woke up in which is being decorated to be your art room", I tell her hoping maybe that will get me off of the hook for the whole kidnapping fiasco.
"Wait, what? That's too much Jesse. I don't need a whole art room", she says stopping us in the middle of our walk.
"It's not too much and it's yours. No worries", I soothe her and hold the back of her neck. Wanting to kiss her so badly.
"Thank you", she whispers to me and kisses the back of my hand while her hand is interlocked with mine.
"That was adorable" I say to her as I continue walking her towards the training grounds.
When we get there we can see my warriors training diligently. Taya gasps and tells me to, "make them stop fighting". I laugh and tell her that they are training and she nods although she winces a few times when other pack members seem to be hit rather hard.
We watch for a little while, when Caleb waves at Taya. Taya smiles and waves back at him. Caleb and his cousin Nick are Warriors. Some of my best actually. Though Caleb, Nick and Taya's quick relationship annoys me slightly, I tone it down because I know Taya would never do anything like that. Nor would she like me going caveman on her and dragging her back to the room.
Caleb is fighting with another warrior Josh. They are squared of and Caleb attacks landing a hard blow to Josh's gut. He twists his arm behind his back and lands him on the floor. Pinned in all of 10 seconds. Caleb smiles at Taya again and sees me, smiling at me also. My warrior leader starts to approach and I can feel Taya's resentment towards her. I poke at her mind to see why she is so upset with my Warrior leader but it's blocked. She learned how to block me out and I'm not quite happy about it.
Taya's POV
I watch as Jasmine spots me and Jesse. I see her smirk and then walk up to us as she sways her hips. She is wearing nothing but a sports bra and leggings and I could not be more annoyed at how good she looks. Jesse decides to introduce us this time.
"Hello Jasmine", he looks at me with questioning eyes. "Taya, this is my warrior leader Jasmine. She's one of the toughest warriors I have and this", he looks at Jasmine while looking at me, "this is Taya, she is my mate and future Luna". Of course she's his warrior leader.
I could really kiss him, I'm so happy with the way he introduced me. Jasmine looks a little shocked at first and then gives a fake smile reaching her hand out to shake mine.
She says, "Yes, we've run into each other in the elevators but I didn't know who she was".
Damn right bitch, you sure didn't know who I was! "Yes, it's nice to actually meet you", I say politely and shake her hand. Although I'm sure she knew my intentions were not polite.
"Well Jesse", she strokes his arm, "I just came over to say hello. I've got to get over to the newbies. They have much to learn about the way I run things here", she said to him but the last part was for me and she made sure I knew it by looking at me as she said it. It was a message and it pissed me off.
"Okay, be sure to send me an update on their performance", Jesse reminded Jasmine.
"Sure thing babes", the hussy said right in front of my face!
She walked away swaying her hips a little extra and I looked at Jesse. "Babes? Really?", I said with a slightly disgusted look on my face.
"Oh babydoll it's nothing she says that to everyone. Now come let me show you the remainder of the grounds", he takes my hand and I feel the tingles shoot though my palm. I look to see Jasmine giving me the evil eye and I walk away with Jesse feeling the slightest bit satisfied. I know she's upset with me and it's exactly what she deserves.
