ALLIE

When I went down my family are already eating breakfast. I kissed Mom and Dad. It's Saturday so they are home for breakfast and if there is no emergency at the office, or if they do not have any engagement, they usually stay at home. And my twin siblings Noel and Nicomed, both 6 months old, would pester me the whole weekend if I don't go out and yes I still don't like babies. Hmmm my agent told me that I have a pictorial for a print ad. Anong oras na nga pala yun? Ah 10 am. What time na pala? 8 na. Oh shucks.

"Late night Allie?"

"Yes Dad. I had a tv guesting. This morning naman I have a pictorial for a print ad."

I recited my schedule for today. My dad was spreading some butter on his toast. And my Mother is looking at me na parang may kasalanan ako.

"We saw your tv guesting."

Uh-oh. Here it comes. Patay ako nito. I'm sure ang susunod nito is

"I did not know that you're dating Daniel Antonio? Hindi ba he's rather very old for you?"

"He's kind, he's a gentleman and he has a stable job and he makes my assignments. It's just dating Mom, nothing serious."

I looked at my dad who has been spreading that damn butter on his toast for forever now. I looked at his face and as usual I know he wanted to say something but since Mom is already on my case, he is not saying anything. Daddy altho he is not my father treats me like his own. He spoils me no end BUT he also disciplines me if there is a need for it. One time when I was 11, pinalo niya ako over something that shocked him and Mom. Alam ko naman na kaya niya ako pinalo kasi alam ko natakot sila ni Mommy. I jumped off the roof of the garage sa Baguio. And our garage is sobrang taas cause dun naka garahe ang mga uplifted trucks niya. HAhahaha.  After that hindi naman na niya ako pinalo. He hugged me actually after pinalo niya ako.

Pero when it comes sa Mommy ko, she will nag me no end and also violent siya hahaha. She would belt me kahit ngayon matanda na ako. Pag sinabi niyang DAPA kahit si Dad hindi niya ito mapipigilan. Dad and I are closer than Mommy and I. Masungit kasi si Mommy. Daddy is more lenient. Now, when it comes to boys....kahit sino pa yan, ayaw niya. NOT when I'm 32 daw. I always tell him that he and Mommy very young when they had me. And that would make him smile and hug me.

"Tsaka Mom, si Gramps may minamatch sa akin. SI Howard. You both know that I do not like him and gross Dad huh, feeling niya siya na ang pakakasalan ko. I have my ambitions you know. Tsaka takot lang ni Dan na bastusin ako. Kilala naman niya kayo eh. He said patay siya sa yo pag may ginawa siya."

"Talaga. I will make sure he rots in hell if may ginawa siya sa yo. Your Mom and I are just worried. He's a lot older than you."

"What would you rather that I go with boys my age or a man who could control his sexual urges."

"Mommy, what's seshual urgent?"

"Allie. Mind your words young lady."

"Sorry mom. "

"Stop laughing Joaquin Escudero. Honey never mind what ate Allie said. If you're good in schoola dn at home I might tell you what it means."

"okay Mommy"

"Mom, Dad, I better go. I don't want to be late."

"Take care, mag ingat ka."

"YEs Daddy."

"Are you going out with Daniel again?"

"Mom, we have no plans of going out today. Besides, he is a busy man and I do not want to disturb him except when I needed my assignment answered. I will tell you okay?"

"Eto ang ayoko eh, hindi na kita na cocontrol."

"Sweetheart, pabayaan mo si Allie. Allie, I want to meet your boyfriend. Set a dinner tomorrow. Here at the house."

"Dad! He's not my boyfriend. We're just dating."

"I Still want to meet him."

"But you already know him. He knows you too."

"But I did not know he's dating my daughter that time. "

"Bring him tomorrow for dinner Allie. Gusto ng Daddy mo to meet him."

"Okay, I'll tell him if he will be available tomorrow."

"He will be."

i text ko nga siya. Baka hindi pa siya gising.

"Are you up?"

"hello gising ka na ba?"

.......

"Busy ka?

.......

"Sorry I was in the shower. Anything I can do for you Miss Universe?"

"We have a problem."

"And that would be... what?"

"Dad and Mom saw our tv guesting and he wants you to have dinner with my the family tomorrow night. Are you available?"

"Okay sure. Dinner tomorrow."

"Thank you."

............

"Have lunch with me today?"

"I have pictorials eh."

"Location?"

I told him the location and he did not reply anymore after that text. Bruho!

DANIEL

Patay nalaman na ng Dad niya at kakausapin pa ako huh! Ano kaya ang panakot na gagawin ko sa Tatay nito para hindi ako masyadong takutin? Hmmmm oh yeah, their company pala is expanding and they are buying our shipping yard in Sharon City. Alam kaya niya na alam ko yun? Hmmm. Pero kung hindi naman aggressive, hindi ko na lang babanggitin hahaha. Sutil ka din Daniel no? I learned that Joaquin Escudero is a good man. Fair din siya sa mga empleyado niya. Puro magaganda lang ang sinasabi nila about him and his wife. Brat si Mrs Escudero pero reasonable naman daw siya. Si Atty Escudero is a strict boss pero fair siya, yun ang description sa kanila.

And why the hell did I ask her for lunch again?  Steven called last night asking me kung talagang kami na ni Allie Escudero cause he was supposed to ask her for a date. Sabi ko kami na nun pa. Steven is the worst playboy in the country., He belongs to one of the richest families in the country and he is a womanizer. He is a couple of years older than I am. He works for his father. Ayaw ibigay sa kanya ang kompanya nila kasi irresponsible daw. Happy go lucky lang. one of the most handsome faces too...sabi ng mga babae. Hahahaha

"Sayang pare. Have you scored on her?"

"Those are personal questions pare. I do not talk about my girl in public."

Gago yun. What time na? I'll bring lunch to her.

"Rick, find out mo nga kung ilang tao ang pakakainin ko ng lunch sa pictorial ni Allie. Nasa Krystal Bldg daw sila ngayon. Tapos order ka na din ng Lunch ha. Except  shrimps and crabs, allergic si Allie sa mga yun."

RIck is my personal assistant. He is 4 years older than I am and he is very reliable too.
