DANIEL

(6 months after)

"Good morning baby. Wake up."

"Huh? What time is it?"

"3 am."

"It's too early."

"Wake beautiful."

"Antok pa ako eh."

"I'm hor*y sweetheart."

"Ayoko!"

"Ayaw mo na? Sige alis na lang ako. Maghahanap ako ng ibang babae."

"Eh di maghanap ka. Puputulin ko yan."

"Hahahahaha! Grabe sweetheart para kang taga kanto kung magsalita. Sabi ko wake up na."

"Bakit ba kasi?"

"Ang sungit naman ng baby ko. I just want to ask....what are these?"

I showed her the three pregnancy kits. She sat up.

"Aaaahhh hindi ko naitago? I was going to surprise you when you come back kaso ang late mo naman kasi umuwi."

"Sorry na sweetheart, ang tagal kasi nung signing ng merger eh. Ang dami pa naming ginawang revisions."

I kissed and huggged her. I never imagined na one day magagawa konlahat to sa kanya. Dati sobra ang coldness namin towards each other. Pero ngayon hindi na.

"So what is tye result? What does it mean?"

"Hindi mo alam?"

"Walang instructions eh. Tsaka di konpa naman na try yan. But I know that is a pregnancy test strip."

"You know for someone who is so successful in business, ikaw lang ang walang alam dito hahaha."

"So what did it say?"

" Well all strips say...I'm not pregnant. Kaso delayed ako kaya nag pa check ako. The doctor says that I am 7 weeks on the way."

What is she saying? I looked at her and she noticed my expression.

"You're going to be a Dad in more or less 7 months."

"What?"

ALLIE

Nakakatawa ang reaksiyon ng asawa ko. Sabi ko magkakaanak na kami di niya ma gets. Kailangan ko pang sabihin sa kanya na magiging Daddy na siya. He just hugged and kissed me and pace the room amd would hug andnkiss me again and again.

We made love that morning. It was sensous and passionate. He did not want to go to work and so he convinced me that we should stay in the room all day. I laughed at him. We ended up hosting an impromptu lunch for the whole family to announce that we're pregnant. They were all excited.

If all these did not happen, we would have ended everything already. We would have separated and God knows what else. I am glad that I met Daniel. I am glad that our love did not just happen over night, it was a long process of falling in love.

I looked at my handsome husband and he returned the smile I gave him. He came to where I was sitting and took my hand in his. And he kissed me not caring of who were looking at him do it. He just love showing off and loves to PDA with me.
