What the hell? Why is he here? I was thinking of him when I was coming here. I was thinking if he's still single and would still like to "help" me again with Howard. Gosh.... Ang guapo niya. Bakit mas guapo siya ngayon? I mean...bakit ang hot niya ngayon? Gosh.... Speak! Ano ba Nathalie, Speak!!!
"Why are you here?" I looked at my dad and he told me that they are having business with pleasure.
"And may I know why you used the chopper?"
"Gramps sent me to use HIS chopper Dad. So since I wanted to rush away from him, I agreed to use it. Anyways, the chopper is going back asap."
"Did the pilot eat before your flight here?"
"They had lunch at the ranch. They need to go back asap because they had to pick Uncle Henry in La Union to bring him in Manila."
And as a signal, we heard the chopper flew. I looked at Dan and he spoke to Dad. He did not even look at me. Parang ayaw niya akong makita. Parang naiinis siya. It looks like he can't stand another second in my presence.
"Uhm, Sir, it looks like you and Allie have a lot of catching up to do, so may I be excused? I need to make some calls. If you don't mind."
"No! No! No! I don't mind at all. Sige na you go make those calls. I know you're a busy man and I won't keep you. Dinner is at half past 7."
"Okay sir. Allie?"
I nodded at him when he turned my way. He did not really look at me, instead he just nodded at me. When he left I looked at Dad and I know he must have noticed something. I pouted at him and rolled my eyes. He smiled sadly at me. He knows that Dan is seeing someone and that I can't possibly be the reason for their break up. Oh well. Pero at least man lang sana, friends pa din kami. Pero bakit ganun? Bakit parang ang cold cold niya sa akin. Ang layo layo ng loob niya sa akin. Paano pa ako magpapatulong sa kanya ngayon?

" Oh! That's a pity. Sige. Napagod ka na, kaya mo ba umuwi ng Manila ngayon? Maybe pasamahan na lang kita sa driver namin opara hindi ka mapagod. You just arrived this morning. Papatayin ako ni Anna nito pag nalaman niya pinayagan kitang umuwi."
"Sir, you know us. We can't miss opportunities. I just needed to be there early morning. "
"Okay. Have dinner with us then?"
"I would love to sir but I really have to go."
"Okay I will tell Nathalie to pack some sandwich for you."
"Oh no need Sir. I'll just grab some on my way."
I left their house with dinner packed by Allie. It was her dad who handed me the dinner box. Her mother was not in the house when I left. Allie was somewhere in their house but she never came out to say goodbye to me. She probably does not care at all. So stop your dreaming Daniel Antonio. Focus! She does not like you at all.
