"Nasan sila?"

"Sir nasa pool side po sila kumakain ng breakfast."

"Si Ma'am mo?"

"Sir kakababa lang po niya. Nasa pool na din po."

"Sige, salamat. Hugasan niyo nga tong mga strawberries tapos iserve niyo mamaya. Ichill niyo muna."

"Okay sir."

Naririnig ko na ang tawanan ng mga magbalae. Paglabas ko sa side service door ng bahay, nakita ko na si Allie naka shorts siya at naka long sleeve ng manipis na blouse. Nakatalikod siya sa akin. Lumingon ang mga magulang namin pero sinenyasan ko na huwag maingay. Naglalagay siya ng butter sa toast niya.

"Happy anniversary sweetheart."

Nagulat siya. Hinalikan konsiya agad bago pumalag. Aba minsan minsan na nga lang ako nakakahalik, di ko pa lubus lubosin. I kissed her deeply and I felt her hand at the back of my head. And she's kissing me back. As urgent as my kisses.

"Uhurm"

"Dito lang kami"

Pucha nandito pala mga oldies. Shit! Bakit ba napaka wrong timing niyo? Sana pinabayaan niuo na lang kami maghalikan.

We stopped kissing and we stared at each other's eyes. Then I remembered the roses.

"Happy anniversary sweetheart. I love you."

Pucha!!! Daniel san galing yun? Ikaw nagsabi nun di ba? Hindi yun arte. Ikaw bumigay?

"Happy anniversary Honey. I love you too."

It was just a whisper but I heard it. Arte lang ba yun? I looked at her and she won't look at me. I went around the table and kissed everyone. Then I went to the empty chair beside her. I took her hand in my hand. And I handed her my other gift. Shr looked at it and at me. She opened it and saw the diamond necklace.I bought for her. I took the necklace.from the box and opened the clasp. Isinuot ko sa kanya. And of course may kasama na naman itong halik. This time sa batok naman. Hahahaha may kiliti kanpala diyan ha mahal ko?

Then she handed me a box with a ribbon.

"Happy Anniversary sweetheart."

Aha! May regalo ka din sa akin? Meaning, nag prepare ka in case may ganitong pangyayari. I took the box from her and kissed her again.

"Thank you sweetheart"

I looked at her again and leaned to kiss her.

"Kayong lovebirds, kung ganyan pala kayo maglambingan, bakit  wala pa kaming mga apo ngayon?"

I looked at the lovely woman beside me and said

"Masyado pang bata ang katawan ni Allie. Mga two years from now siguro."

And she pinched me. I looked at her and she was blushing.
