DANIEL

The pamamanhikan went well. Our parents decided our wedding, from the theme to who will serve food. Allie and I just sat there listening to everyone planning our church wedding. We tried to disagree with what they want but they all glared at us. We sat there looking at each other just shrugging our shoulders. Then I got bored.

"You wanna get out from here? Layasan kaya natin sila? Nabobore na ako eh."

"Sige. Tara."

I took her hand in my hand and we slipped out of their house. We went to my house instead. Nunh makita ako ng mga guardiya sa village ay itinaas na nila ang harang sa gate ng village. Sinenyasan ko sila at ipinakilala ko si Allie.

"Eto pala misis ko, si Nathalie Escudero-Antonio. Pag nakita niyo siya, papasukin niyo siya. Okay?"

The guared peered in the car and looked at Allie. Nagandahan siguro ang loko at mukhang na shock siya.

"Ehem, okay ba?"

"Uh...ehh....yes sir! Hello Mrs Antonio."

"Hello."

Mabait talaga tong batang ito. She is so unlike the girls I go out with. Hmmm okay.

"Sige Luis, yun lang."

"Yes sir. Congratulations Sir, Ma'am."

"Thank you Luis."

"Salamat Luis."

Pag pasok na namin sa bahay, ipinakilala ko din siya sa mga guwardiya at mga maids dun. Habang ipinakilala ko siya nakahawak ako sa kamay niya. Minsan yung kamay ko nasa likod niya. Pumasok kami sa room ko na magiging room na namin.

"Saan ako matutulog?"

"Dito sa room."

"Huh? Di ba tayo magkahiwalay ng room?"

"Hindi. Don't worry di naman ako masyadong umuuwi dito. Like what I told you, I have apartments and condos where I can stay."

"Okay."

"Besides, sa harap lang naman nila tayo mag asawa eh. Let's talk about the rules pala."

"I have said na ang rules ko. Make it discreet...kung anuman ang affairs mo."

"Ok. Ako naman since the marriage will be a couple of years lang, you are not allowed to have an affair with anyone. Hindi ka pwedeng makipag bf, makipag date sa iba habang kasal ka sa akin."

"Pero pwede kang makipag date?"

"Sabi mo pwede di ba?"

"Paano kung sasabihin ko sa iyo na ayoko din? Na hindi ka pwedeng makipag date or affair with anyone?"

"Kaya ako pumayag na pakasalan ka kasi payag ka na pwede makipag date ako sa iba di ba?"

"Bahala ka na nga. Just make sure na hindi ako guguluhin ng kahit sinong babae mo at papatulan ko talaga."

"Okay, sabi mo eh."

"Siguraduhin mo yan Daniel."

"Okay. Yun lang?"

"Yun lang."

"One more thing, you have to come with me to every events that I attend. And you have to represent me sa mga events na diko ma aattendan."

"Huh?"

"We have to act as Mrs and Mrs. Daniel Antonio."

"Oo na sige na."

Naiinis siya. You wanted this Allie. I'm giving it to you.

"Anything else?"

"Act like you're in love with me even in the presence of the househelps."
