ah, the birds were chirping, the wind singing and the 5:00 am sun seeping through the window. as a habit, seokjin always kept his curtains open, it felt like that he wasn't stuck between four walls all the time. it was always at night when he kept them wide open, there wasn't much to say about it apart from that he just did it.
sloth-like, seokjin removed the velvety duvet from his heated-up-body and began manoeuvring away from his bed and towards the stairs. when walking, his legs felt incredibly uncomfortable. he took the first step but a pain shot up both his calves, resulting in him yelping a bit louder than anticipated. it was like the devil had zapped him with a 100 volts right in the calve. ok, that was a bit dramatic, but it hurt like hell.
hearing some footsteps behind, his sister sangjin walked in front of him, checking his face and beaming when she could see the obvious uncomfortable pain in seokjins eyes. chuckling, sangjin continued to stumble her way down the staircase.
sore, seokjin called after sangjin but no prevail. soon enough, his loving sister came back with a cup of coffee (or tea) and stood in the same place as she was before.
"the state that you are in is killing me," sangjin said, her darkly eyes sparkling in amusement.
"does my pain amuse you?" seokjin retorted.
nodding and chuckling more, she answered, "yes, now how did you get into this... whatever this is anyway? did you do the dirty?" her eyes brightening in the theory.
disgusted, seokjin gave her a look of confusion and horror, "no!"
both her and their mother knew about seokjins homosexuality. it wasn't seokjins plan to come out when he did, he was more of hoping that he'd tell them when he got his first boyfriend, but that flew out the window when he accidentally slipped one time about having a crush on a guy at school.
"so, jin boy," jin was a nickname everyone that knew him used, "do you have a crush at school?" not taking notice that his mother was listening on them, he straightened his back and moved his position on the pillow that they were both sitting on the floor. the image of his crush pictured in his mind made a splash of red color his cheeks.
"you do dont you!" sangjin being the pushy person she was, repeated 'spill!' over and over, pulling and pushing him away and towards her. jins crush still lingered in his mind, completely forgetting that he wasn't the only one in the room, he just came clean.
"kim taehyung"
let's just say that they were perplexed and accepted him.
"can you please help me get down the stairs please?" jin pleaded.
"oh my god, what did you do?" sangjin said, vex lacing her tone.
"well yesterday mom forced us- me to go to the football club, and i dont recall stretching afterwards, so..." sangjin rolled her eyes, placed her mug down beside the bannister and motioned her hands towards her. giving a knowing look, the younger shuffled towards her and (with a bit of help from her) got on her back. struggling from the weight of the almost grown man, she leisurely made their way down the bottom of the steps but didn't halt. instead, she headed to the living room and dropped seokjin back first onto the couch.
with an oof, seokjin crawled onto his front and sighed in relief. he turned around to face where his sister supposedly went to, the kitchen, "what day is it?" he yelled, hoping he was loud enough to be heard even if sangjin wasn't in the kitchen. carefully listening, a faint friday came from the top of the stairs were he guessed she went back for her drink.
bothered, jin returned back to his first position on his back, sighing (more like huffing) again.
jesus, one more day.
