The cows continued to munch on their delectable grass as Aki fled the scene, not being able to see us anymore.

Ayano and I sat on the little white fence, dumbfounded by what nature had given us. Although we’ve seen stuff like bushes, grass, and even the clouds, we have come to realize that seeing all these beautiful things have been left for granted. If you look close enough at it, you can see how cool it is!

White fluffy clouds began rolling in as we continued to stare boundlessly across the farm. I really wish Nuage wasn’t sleeping all the time so he could witness this beauty.

“Hey Nazuni?” Ayano asked with the softest and purest voice, almost like a child’s voice. “Yeah?” “What do you want to be when you grow up? I know this is sudden but…” “I was thinking of going into astrology, ya’ know. It kinda fits my hobbies.” Ayano looked as if she was like “I knew it!” and began to smile, although this time it seemed faker… or rather forced than the other ones.

I nodded my head in her direction. “What about you?” Ayano gave out a “Hmm” noise as she placed her finger on her chin as a means of getting herself to think and focus. She clearly had no answer but managed to spit one out to my surprise. “I want to be a radio announcer or a teacher, anything that lets me talk to a bunch of different people! Maybe I could be an interrogator too.” I don’t think that last idea would be good for her. She’d cry within the first second of that job.

Speaking of crying, ever since me and Ayano started dating, she stopped whining or crying which she used to do constantly. I guess that was her way of getting attention, but now that she has me, she doesn’t need to do that. “Hey I noticed you stopped crying, good for you.” I gave her a thumbs up but for some reason she got furious and sad at the same time. She hopped off the fence then faced me head on. “Is that all you remembered me for? The girl who cried all the time?!” She began to whine and cry, something that I thought she totally wouldn’t do. “We’ve known each other for seven years and that’s all you’ve known me for? How about the girl who went to the ice cream shop with you every other weekend? Or the girl who sewed up that jacket you ripped up on the playground in fourth grade? You meanie! Waaaah!!” “Okay! Okay! I’m sorry!” I said as I reached out my arms to comfort her.

All this noise we were making went straight into Nuage’s ears. In an instant, his eyes began to slowly open, and his body began to simultaneously move along with his eyes, awakening from their period of rest. Nuage sat up and let out a loud and mighty yawn. His eyes sharply shot right at the both of us and his eyebrows pressed down violently on his head. “What are you guys doing?” he said rather upset with being woke up. “Am I witnessing a divorce?” We aren’t even married in the first place! He glanced right at Ayano, who was the one making most of the noise, and just began to walk away. “Geez, I can’t sleep when you two are together. I’m going to find another spot, maybe find a couch or something. Seems like you need time alone anyways.” Nuage just straight up left. I swear he was going to kill us right there. He’s probably scarier than Daylin when he’s mad.

As soon as Nuage left, Daylin began to approach us. Well, speak of the devil. On his way over to us, he passed by Nuage. “Whoa, what’s his problem?” Daylin looked back at Nuage as he walked around in search of a resting area. “We kinda woke him up while he was sleeping. Daylin’s eyebrows dropped as if he wasn’t surprised. “Eh, he’s always like that, it’s his fault for not getting sleep in the bus, or at home either.” He walked up to the fence that we were at and sat on top of it. He leaned back his back really far, to the point of almost falling, and let out a big sigh.

“What’s wrong Daylin?” Ayano asked. “Oh? It’s rare for us two to talk eh? We didn’t do it very much in middle school.” “Yeah you’re right, but I’ll definitely do it more this year.” Daylin nodded his head, moved his curly hair around, the continued to answer Ayano’s question. “It’s just that I really don’t my cabin mates, they’re all a pain in the rear end. They just won’t shut up.”
