I watch the paper ads cascade like falling leaves in slow motion from Yeng's hands. The look on her face was beyond describable for words as she stomped furiously on each piece.

"Take it easy. If that paper could, it would surely fight back." I let out a little laugh.

"Why are those kind of people born?" She scoffs with hands balled into fists. For a moment, I thought she was going to punch me. Thankfully, she doesn't.

"Yeah, they're heartless. Paper are made from trees, they were once living things." I point to the nearby trash can that is now filled with the paper ads that we handed out a while ago.

"Isn't it enough that they ignored us and did that? Why do they have to throw us suspicious looks?" She rolls her eyes in great annoyance. "It's not like we're offering a scam, we're just promoting a music shop!"

"Well, it can't be helped. Those kind of people exist for a reason." I shrug my shoulders as I gather the remaining paper ads and put it inside my bag. "Let's go, it's past lunch." I pull her by the hand and start walking to a nearby cafe.

"I don't know what to do anymore." Yeng sighs hopelessly as she weakly takes a bite on the slice of cake on her plate.

"I know what to do." I smile at her cheerfully. "Why don't we turn your shop into a music cafe? Just like this one."

"Yeah, and who's going to cook?" She raises an eyebrow.

"You and me!" I point at her and me enthusiastically. "Just a little cooking classes and practice is all we need."

"Do you really think we could pull that off?" She doubtfully cups her chin.

"Hell yeah. And there's no harm in trying." I wiggle my eyebrows in excitement. "While we're waiting for Sirius to pay us a visit, let's learn how to cook first."

"You're still waiting for him? It's been almost a year, Phat." She shakes her head in annoyance then drinks from her cup.

"Listen, I bumped into his friend Dominic at school. He told me that he handed him the business card and he'll visit the shop soon." I assure her with a wide smile.

"And you're actually buying that crap?" She snickers. "Well, it's all we can do. Wait in vain."

"Don't worry. I already had a backup plan for that." I smile as I leisurely reach for my cellphone in my bag.

"And what is that?" Her eyes focus at me, glinting with a spark of both hope and intrigue.

"Secret." I grin at her and was about to scroll through my messenger when a notification caught my eye. "Omo!" I was thrilled to see what and who it was from.

@framed4strings: The flowers here in Hongdae are calling you @lostkitty. Make them bloom.

Yeng takes a peek on my cellphone. "That's your backup plan? Flower shop? I thought we're turning it into a music cafe." She throws me a confused look.

"No, this is different. This is what I'm telling you about." I smile as I quickly replied at his post.

@lostkitty: Coming!!! I can't wait to see those in person. ^^

"I think what you meant was you can't wait to see him in person." She laughs good naturedly. "What if he turns out to be a fat geek in glasses, what would you do? Would you still fall head over heels for him? Wait, is he even a he? What if he is a she?" She laughs again, this time teasingly.

I look at her dumbfounded. Yeah, I haven't thought of that. I really don't know what he looks like. Or she looks like. Blame our creative profile pictures. He has a picture of a sunset, while I have my shoe selfie.
