I lost count on how many times I had seen cookie stealer this week at school. For every instance our eyes met, she would instantly look away and avoid me like I got some serious contagious disease. Even Dominic noticed it and began asking me why. It can't be helped, the three of us are blockmates in a certain subject.

"Her lips were on the way when the train nudged so I ended up kissing her by accident. I already apologized but she still thinks I did it on purpose and that's what bothers me because I didn't. That thought wouldn't stop running on my mind." I narrated plainly what really happened.

"YOU WHAT?!" Dominic's eyes widen in disbelief.

"You heard it. I wouldn't repeat myself." I cross my arms in front of my chest.

"So, you couldn't stop thinking about her?" Cris giggles like a fox. Yeah, they even find a way to be together at school. Don't ask me how.

"Not her, but her reaction. What if she tells other people that I'm what she thinks I'm like, which I'm not. That's what I can't stop thinking about." I sigh out of exasperation.

"I think you and her are fated. Just like me and Ming." She links her arm to her chuckling boyfriend. Here we go again with this destiny crap.

"No, we're not. We're not childhood friends from an orphanage." I snicker in mockery.

"But you two started with a kiss too. Just like us." She insisted. This girl just wouldn't give up.

"No. We started with a cookie. Which she stole from me by the way."

"Doesn't make any difference to me. I stole a kiss from Ming too, the same way you did with her." She grins. "Instead of stealing the cookie, she stole your heart!"

Dominic laughs. I shake my head in defeat. Her thoughts are as crazy as her brother's are.

"You'll have to wait until she is ready to talk to you. Clear things out and don't rush her. For now, you need distraction to get her out of your mind." He emphasizes on the word her instead of distraction with a meaningful grin. What a great way to give an advice.

"That's what Adam hyung told me too. But he's too busy with your sister. She won't play on any of our gigs. My father's dating game isn't helping too. Its just my camera. But I have ran out of subjects. Its getting tiresome. Dead end, I should just force the truth to her little brain to clear that make-believe fantasy of her."

"Meet someone new or do things you haven't tried before." Cris smiles genuinely though I give her a doubtful look. "Trust your doctor, its a form of therapy." She raises her chin proudly. I had no choice, I gave in to her brilliant idea and quickly fiddled on my phone.

@framed4strings: Goal for the week - Meet someone new and make her smile.

My lips turn into a slight upward curve after typing as status when I saw her username lit in blue meaning she's online.

1, 2, 3...

4, 5...

And she doesn't give a comment which is weird because she usually does everytime I post after 3 seconds the least. I wait in anticipation hanging to the edge of my seat for the next 5 seconds... then she goes offline. I stare at the screen in dismay. That's what you get for getting your hopes too high.

"Too bad. Just try something new."

"No, wait for her reply. Maybe she's just busy."

I turn my phone face down to the table as I heard Dominic and Cris from behind. I was too preoccupied that I didn't notice they were already at my back reading my post. "Privacy seems a luxury nowadays." I shake my head and put my phone inside my pocket before walking away.
