Soon it was Friday. My anxiety was intense but I was excited. I don't know if cody wanted this to be like a date or if others were coming to just hang out.
If his intent was a date I'll be fine, he's pretty cute.
I was almost out the door when I heard Maxx mocking me.
"What?" I say turning to him.
"I never thought you'll fall in love with one of my band mates," he said laughing at me.
"Fall in love? Im only going to get a coffee,"
"Well don't tell him I told you, but cody has a bit of a crush."
Maxx walked away, allowing me to leave. I got in my car and started driving.
The entire ride I thought about what Maxx said. Does cody like me?
I pull up to the place that cody wanted to meet me.
It was a small coffee shop with barely any people.
I walked in and saw cody. I walked over to him.
"Hey," I said smiling.
"Hi, you look so beautiful today."
"Thank you," I was already blushing.
We ordered coffee and chatted the rest of the time.
I might have feelings for cody but I'm not sure.
After about two hours of talking the place was going to close. We were outside the coffee shop and right before I was about to leave, cody grabbed my arm.
"Maybe we can do this again sometime."
"I'd love to," he pulled me into a hug. We said our good byes and split ways.
I got in my car and drove home.
"Damn, was the date that good?" Maxx teased when I walked in.
"It was fun,"
I went upstairs, brushed my teeth, and got ready for bed.
I slept peacefully that night.
