To my relief I look up to see him holding a beer can.
"We like to party, you know. Play music, mess around, drink." Cody said.
"Alright, I guess you don't have anything I can arrest you for." The officer walked back to the front of the house. "If it was you, I will catch you." We made eye contact as he said that, it just made me scared.
When he left I basically ran upstairs. The guys were confused but Cody knew what was wrong.
Cody ran up after me and we stopped in my room. "Hey, are you ok?" Cody asked me.
I was sitting in the corner facing him, "I don't know, are we going to get caught?"
"Don't worry about it, I've been doing this for a long time. I just haven't gotten enough to have multiple houses lately so I've been robbing more."
"Multiple houses? You mean you've been doing this so we can all get money?"
"I'll always protect my friends and my beautiful girlfriend." He sat next to me and held me close. "We should tell the guys that you're ok, they're probably worried."
"Ok," we went downstairs to talk to the guys. I told them that I was ok and it was just a small panic attack.
The rest of the night was spent playing games and eating food.
