Partners In Crime (Cody Carson X Reader)

He's sounded the alarm,

We climbed back into our house with all the money we got.
"What if he saw our license plate?"
"Don't worry, I took the plate off."
We put our guns and money in the closet and laid on the bed. I fell asleep in Cody's arms.
I woke up without cody, he must already be awake. I head downstairs and see that everyone is awake.
We just messed around all day until cody pulled me to the side.
"Don't freak out but officers are going to come here later today."
"What?" I try not to be loud but I started to panic.
"The owner of that store gave our description to the cops and they suspect us," he leaned in and put a hand on my shoulder, "it'll be ok though. We can convince them that we did nothing wrong. This morning I buried all the proof in the back yard. We can dig it up wherever we want, I just need you to be calm."
"Ok," i don't know what to do.
Will I go to prison for this?
We both went back to hanging out and playing games with the boys.
After about an hour we heard a car drive up.
I looked out the window and saw a cop car. A officer stepped out and walked to the house.
He rung the door bell and Zach answered, "is something wrong officer?"
"No, I just need to talk to someone. Does Cody and Avery live here?"
"Um, yes" everyone turned to us and we walked outside with the officer.
"Be honest with me, did you two do anything wrong last night?"
"No," cody started talking, "what happened last night?"
"There was a robbery and the descriptions match you." The officer didn't seem friendly, he really wanted to prove that it was us.
"Can I take a look around your house, just to make sure?" He said looking past me and cody.
"Sure, " the officer walked in and we followed right behind him. He looked through everything, every single thing was checked.
"Ok," the cop said after he finished looking. "Can I check the back yard now?"
"Yes sir," Cody said confidently.
I started to get nervous but I wouldn't show it.
The officer went around the back and investigated more. He looked everywhere. I couldn't even tell where cody buried it so it should be safe, right?
As I stated to relax a bit I panic even more when I hear the officer say in a angry voice, "What is this?"
