Partners In Crime (Cody Carson X Reader)

Won't go down without a fight,

It's been a month since my first date with Cody. We've grown closer together each day.
I wasn't sure if it would all work out but I'm happy that it did. We have been inseparable lately.
Today was weird though, I've had protective boyfriends in the past but Cody is different. He understands that I can have guys as friends but he is always concerned that im hurt or sick.
That's just his personality I guess. I see Cody almost everyday now.
I called cody and we talked for a while. I decided to go to his house and maybe we will go on a walk.
I showed up and we started walking.
"It's raining," he said stepping out of his house. "Are you sure you want to go on a walk?"
"The rain is beautiful, it's nice, cool, and there's going to be less people." I say as I walk out into the rain.
"Ok I guess," cody chuckled as he walk out next to me.
We talked the entire time, we laughed, and had so much fun.
Towards the end of the walk he said something that I got a bit paranoid about.
The sun was starting to set, it'll be dark soon.
"Have you ever done a crime?"
"No, unless you count cheating on a test, " I joked. "Why do you ask?"
He laughed and continued, "I don't know, I'm just curious."
With that we made it back to his house. We stopped on his door step, said our goodbyes, and a soft kiss.
He didn't want me to walk home alone but I insisted.
I got my way and started walking home. The more I thought about what he asked the more suspicious I got.
Is Cody doing something?
