It takes a few days for the five of them to adjust back to the rebel life but they eventually get back into the swing of it like they did before. Out of all of them, it's taken Dan the longest to finally get into the swing of things mostly due to the amount of mental and physical trauma caused towards him in particular. The only problem that they have now is they don't know where the rebels are hiding because they all moved out of the warehouse they were previously in due to the king's knowledge of their location. This now puts Dan, Phil, PJ, Adrian, and Joe in a stranded position because without knowing where the rebels are, they're screwed.

At the moment, all of them sit at the dining table in the kitchen trying to think of a way to get back to the rebels. So far they've all come up empty handed or with an impossible idea that could cause all of them to potentially die. Thankfully the rebels left all of their gear here including hoodies, other black clothes, weapons, and the essentials for spreading their colors around the city. Suddenly Dan has a brilliant, but somewhat bad, idea.

"What if we did a small rebel color spread around the city to get the other rebels to come out and join us so that we can get back to them?" Dan proposes and the others look at him with a small amount of shock. "Okay it sounds like a bad idea but think about it."

Phil looks over at him. "You've got a point," he says and PJ looks at him with a raised brow. "Think, Peej. We'll be on the news in a instant and when all the rebels see us, they'll know that we've escaped and hopefully they'll lend us a hand."

"That could work," Joe says but he sounds uncertain.

    "But..." Adrian prompts.

"But if they don't come out to help us, we're still fucked." Everyone sits back and Dan bites his lip, thinking hard about all of this.

"Wait." They all look over at Dan. "We can assure that they'll come out to help by going to Louise's coffee shop. If we can get her to go back and tell all of the rebels that we need their help, we can finally get back with all of them."

Phil shakes his head with a smile, astonishment spinning through his brain. "We're so stupid. We could've gone to her all along!"

They all pause before laughing because they now realize how stupid they really are.

"Okay so let's go to her cafe tonight to talk with her. Then after that we tell her that we're planning all of this to be two days from now," Phil starts, explaining the plan to all of them. It's simple. They talk to her, then do the rebel color attack exactly two days after they speak with her at 10am, and lastly they join them with the rest of the rebels. At least that's how they hope it'll go.

Sometime later Phil finds Dan sitting on the edge of the bed, staring out the window in the room watching the sunset behind all of the buildings. Quietly Phil shuts the door behind him and pads over to Dan. Dan notices him but doesn't say anything.

"Are you okay?" Phil softly asks and Dan sighs, shaking his head slightly.

"I don't think I've ever been more not okay," he replies in just barely a whisper and Phil nods in understanding. "The other morning when I was being chased through the palace, I was really debating whether or not it's even worth fighting anymore but then I remember what I'm fighting for. I'm fighting for you and for my brother and for everyone I care about."

Phil leans his head on Dan's shoulder and Dan smiles softly, reaching behind Phil and playing with his hair. They sit in silence for a moment before Phil sniffles and turns away, letting the tears roll down his cheeks.

"What's wrong?" Dan asks and Phil looks over at him with watery eyes.

"I've never had someone else fight for me. I mean sure I'm the leader of the rebels but I've always been fighting for myself and I really don't think I've ever had another person specifically fight for me, you know?"

It's Dan's turn to nod in understanding and Phil wipes his tears away, chuckling at how dumb he probably looks. Dan suddenly leans forward, kissing Phil on the lips passionately catching Phil by surprise before pulling away a moment later.

"I will always fight for you and you're never alone in all of this. Remember that," Dan reassures and Phil smiles over at Dan, finally able to have a moment without anxiety over whether or not he'll die in two seconds.

So this is the last chapter that I have uploaded and written at the moment. I don't know when I'll have another up but I'll do my best -Tori
