Naruto awoke to the lovely sound of the birds chirping outside his window. The bright morning sunshine shining pass his window panes hitting his tan skin. Groaning, he stretched himself. As his hand landed on the other side of his bed, he felt a solid matter touching his skin. The sun shining was blinding him but it was nothing he couldn't identify. That familiar midnight hair blocking out the bright shining. Naruto sat in his boxers and t-shirt, stunned to see her laying on her side of the bed, facing the other way. His hands were trembling as he slowly reached out to touch her, just a feeling. Just one.
"Naruto-kun"
That voice. It is definitely hers. "Hinata?" He called out turning to where the voice is, searching as he still remained on his bed. However, he found nothing, thus Naruto turned back to where he sees Hinata laying down just a moment ago. His heart started to race when her solid figure disappeared. What made him scared was the fact the mattress and pillow seem untouched.
"Naruto-kun."
Once more her voice called to him. His room is still bright with the sun shining its magnificent glow, lighting up his bedroom. There, near his bathroom door, Hinata has her hand on the handle, with her free one, she gestured Naruto to follow her.
"Naruto-kun"
Naruto's body moved as she called him. Her smile pulling him closer. He pushed himself off the bed, his footsteps light as he made his way towards her. Hinata has her hand out, asking him to reach for it. Naruto could not believe what he sees, there, just a few meters from him, his beloved wife is asking him to join her like how they used to.
He felt her fingers graze his, feeling her soft and delicate touch,
"Come with me..."
His body shivered as he felt her breath tickle his skin. Naruto was about to follow wherever she was pulling him but he accidentally hit a wall and like before she vanished in thin air from his sight.
"Naruto-kun"
Her voice was chirpier than what he heard before.
"Naruto-kun...Here..."
He ran out of his master bedroom into his corridor, grabbing every door handle and pushing it all open, all while screaming her name, hoping she answers his call. Naruto frantically went room to room until there was no more. He left each door open, allowing his house now to be bathed in the bright light yellow colour of the sunlight.
"Hinata?!" He called out as he gripped his the balcony railing. Naruto ruffled his hair and rubbed his face when suddenly he saw her figure downstairs by the staircase with his cape. She was already in her white and purple dress, flowing down lovely past her ankles. The two made eye contact, her lavender orbs with his cerulean blue and Hinata smiled first back at Naruto who looked confused at how she's down there so quickly.
"Hinata...come up here, I-I'm on my day off." Naruto sounded almost pleading however she said nothing nor did she move from where she stood. "Stay right there Hime, I'll-I'll carry you up." Naruto made his move quickly, running with heavy steps but devastated when she's not there. "W-what? Hinata?! Where are you?"
There was no answer, no whisper of his name like before, just silence. Naruto started to question his sanity, seeing Hinata disappear from him in a flash like that.. 'I need more sleep'. He started to make his way back up but stopped in his tracks when he heard faint sounds coming from the kitchen. "Hime? Are you..."
