I walk into math, already preparing to fall asleep. I tug at my mint green sweater and try to pay attention at least a little bit. Mr. Donald does his best to keep us "awake and alive" but he fails miserably. Sighing, I look out the window. Why didn't I just finish math over the summer like Merida?
Out on the field, I watch a P.E. Class march around. They get in a circle and talk for a minute, then spread out and start stretching. They must be doing their fitness test today. I mindlessly stare out at them until I see a flash of white hair and blue eyes. Aw crap. Does he have to follow me everywhere?!
Somehow, Jack must have noticed me staring, because he looks over at the window and grins. I pretend to be embarrassed while looking down. Man, this game thing is like a full time job now!
I turn my head, trying again to pay attention a little bit. It doesn't really work, but I become deeply focused in not breaking my stare away from the board. Suddenly, I hear a rapping at the window. I nearly jump out of my desk and look out the window again. Jack stares back at me laughing as hard as he can. Why me?!
Jack blows a kiss to me and I stick my tongue out at him. He sticks his tongue out right back at me and smiles. What now? I mouth "you're annoying" so he winks at me. I guess that was a good move...
"Miss Arendelle! What do you think you're doing?" Mr. Donald's voice snaps me back to the classroom.
"Uh... He started it!" I point out the window at a very confused Jack.
"Detention for you both!" He starts filling out two slips of paper. "Now, care to join us in class?"
"Yes, sir." I duck my head in embarrassment.
Mr. Donald walks over to the window, opens it, and hands Jack a detention slip. Jack frowns at me.
I giggle slightly. "Well, you deserve it!" He pouts at me, then winks before Mr. Donald closes the window.
Great, now I have to tell Martha I have detention. And I have it with Jack. Even better.

•After School•"... I promise it won't happen again!" I promise to Martha, explaining my detention story. "... Okay. Okay. Yes. Okay. I will. Bye." I shut my phone and sigh. This is going to be the worst day ever.
Slowly and carefully, I walk into the detention room. The detention teacher, Mr. Archimedes, looks up from the book he is reading. " Ah, are you here for detention?" I nod and hand him my slip. " Take a seat then. We'll begin in a few minutes."
I turn and get a look at my fellow students. There are a few "cool" guys in the back corner, a couple skanky girls in the front row, and a few random normal looking kids dispersed around the room. I take a seat in the third row, as no one is sitting there and it's not too close or far away from the teacher.
"Alright, detention will now begin. First we'll take roll." He looks at a small list. "Al...Bolt...Butch..." He glances at the back corner as they all say here. "Attina...Aquata...Arista...Collette..." The girls in the front row giggle as they respond. "Louis... Daisy... Danny..." They all say here quietly. "Elsa..."
"Here." I mumble, hoping they don't recognize me.
"Jack..." No response. "Jack...?" I look around and see he isn't here.
"Alright, let's begin." Mr. Archimedes writes a few rules on the board. " I'll let you out in exactly one hour." He sits down and continues with his book.
Just then, a smug Jack struts into the room. Silently, he hands Mr. Archimedes his detention slip and takes a seat next to me. I glance at him, then pull out a book and start reading.
