"Jack, you look really good." Emma giggles, helping me tie my light blue bow tie. Is it sad that my eleven year old sister is better at tying ties than I am?
"Thanks, Em." I smile, brushing my fingers through my hair nervously.
"I hope everything goes perfectly tonight!" She smiles dreamily.
I chuckle. "Me too, Em. Me too."
"You're gonna ask her tonight, right?"
I've been thinking a lot about Elsa. Well, that's not really surprising; I'm always thinking about Elsa. But I've officially decided I can't do this anymore. Whether she knows about it or not, the bet is hurtful and wrong. I don't even know why I did it in the first place!
As soon as we get to the dance, I'm going to break it off with Kristoff; I don't even care if it hurts my reputation. I can't stand this secret anymore. But after that, I'll continue my normal plan.
This dance is going to be unforgettable.
"And I'm gonna meet her right after, right?" Emma asks excitedly.
"Yup!"
"Promise?" She holds out her pinky finger.
I hesitate, but eventually take it. "Promise."
"Yay! Have fun tonight, Jack!" She gives me an encouraging smile. "And good luck!"
"Alright, I'm leaving!" I ruffle Emma's hair and head out to pick Elsa up.

Ah, the doorstep. Even when you're not coming back from a date, it's awkward. Thankfully, the Arendelles have these nice rose bushes along the side of their house that I can stare at.Anna opens the door and squeals. She looks pretty, but not nearly as pretty as the gorgeous girl walking down the stairs. I know I already saw her soft blue dress- when I went to the mall- but nothing could have prepared me for this. Elsa has her makeup lightly done, and her hair is down in soft curls. She smiles and blushes, and I suddenly become aware of my open mouth and awed eyes. I try to shut my mouth, but it doesn't work.
"So... What do you think?" Elsa asks softly.
"I-I've never seen your hair down before." Is all I can think to say. Why am I so tongue tied all of a sudden?!
Anna giggles. "You two are sooo cute!"
Alright, keep it cool. You're Jack Frost. Don't let a pretty girl leave you speechless!
"So, you ready to go?" I ask as smoothly as I can. I hold my arm out to her.
"Of course." She says, taking my arm.
We walk out to the car, and I slowly regain my self. Just before we leave, a smooth black car pulls up to their house.
I give Elsa a questioning look. "Hans." She explains.
"Oh yeah. Is it weird that your sister's dating?" I can't imagine when Emma starts dating. Nope, not gonna happen.
"Well... It wouldn't be that bad. If she was dating someone else." We watch him walk up to the door.
Hans bows formally when Anna opens the door, and she returns the bow with an overexcited curtsy. More of a bob than a curtsy, though.
I chuckle as they head back to the car. "He's gonna have a fun time with her; she's so hyper and he's so... Not."
Elsa gives me a worried look and I suddenly realize how freaked out she really is. I know she doesn't approve of Hans, but I didn't think she was this scared about it. She's beautiful when she's worried though.
