"Alright, I should probably go over there. I have to help set up!" I jump excitedly.
The girls and I just finished getting ready. We all looked absolutely stunning! I am wearing the lavender dress I bought with pink tulle cap sleeves and beads on the empire waist. I brush out my hair; since it's a pixie cut, there's not much I can really do. I'm amazed at how pretty I look. I mean, I don't wanna sound full of myself, but I look really good!

"You look gorgeous!" Elsa remarks, smiling.

"That dress looks amazing on you!" Anna and Merida agree.

They're too sweet. "Aw, you guys look cute too! And we're gonna rock this dance!"

It's too bad I don't have a date. It's okay though, this will be fun! Plus, I get to help pick the queen and king of the dance! So I'm gonna have a blast even if I'm all on my own!

I drive over to the school. We're having the dance in the gym. It's just fall themed, so it will be super easy to decorate! I've already drawn up all the plans!

I stand back and look at my work. The walls are covered in leaves and fall colors. There are a few lights and a disco ball streaming around the room. The floor has a few fall colors and some lights around the walls. There's a dessert table and a drink table.

"Great work guys!" I high five the other workers and squeal in excitement. I can't wait for everyone to see it!

Hiccup walks over (he had to help too) with his friend Eugene. "The place looks great Rapunzel!"

"Thanks, Hic!" I gather up my papers and put them in my bag. "Are you two staying for the dance?"

Eugene clears his throat uncomfortably. "Yep."

Hiccup grins at Eugene for a second. What's up with them?

"That's great! Do you have a date?"

"No. Actually... I was..." Eugene stops and takes a deep breath, running his fingers through his hair. "If you don't have a date... Would you go with me? Or... Stay with me I guess?"

I smile. "Of course I will, Eugene!"

He smiles and finally relaxes. Hiccup reminds us that he's still here. "Great, you two are cute. Anyway... I'm gonna go pick up my..." He hesitates. "... Date."

I nearly squeal. "Okay, good luck! See you in a few minutes!"

"You'll do great, buddy!" Eugene chuckles.

I walk awkwardly up to Merida's door. I was kind of thrown into taking her to the dance. But honestly, I'm not that mad about it. She's pretty funny, so I can't imagine that the dance will be boring.

The green door looks huge as I knock on it. I've never met her parents, but if they're anything like Merida, this is gonna be interesting.

A tall, huge man opens the door, and I nearly run in fright.

"Ah, you must be here fer Merida, am I right lad?" He has the same thick Scottish accent as Merida.

I awkwardly straighten up and clear my throat. "Um... Yes, sir."

At that moment, Merida walks into view. She's wearing the long green dress with a gold belt thing that I saw her wear that one time at the store. As usual, her hair is down and In it's natural curly state. I try not to laugh as she blows a stray hair out of her face.
Wow. She actually looks really pretty. I do my best not to stare and immediately return my attention to her enormous father that could probably beat me up in a second.
