*technically, this chapter is "the dance: part three". But it's also the end, so I figured you would like that title better!
Thanks so much for reading, now on to the story!!*

Anna doesn't look too mad about Hans; I'm sure she knew it was coming anyway. I'm really worried about Kristoff though. If he can make sick bets like the one he made with Jack, he surely can't be trusted.
"So..." Jack tries to change the subject 'smoothly'. Before he can continue, Raounzel and another member of the student council, Phillip, step onto the stage.
They announce the fall King and Queen, wasting no time doing it. The fall King is Hiccup, so surprise there, and the Queen is Punzie. She's been hoping for this all year, so I'm really happy for her. I rush over to her (and Eugene, as he's stuck to her like glue) to congratulate her. For some reason, I realize Jack is standing away from the crowd, so I return to him to see what's wrong. Not that I care...
I'm about to reach for his hand when he jumps slightly. He looks at me with those piercing blue eyes and, for some reason, I see a hint of sadness in them. "Hey Elsa? Can I talk to you?"
Um we are talking; obviously. I give him a confused look, until I finally understand. So he's going to do it now. I didn't realize the month had gone so quickly.
"Um... Sure." He starts leading me to a quieter, more empty place.
What is he gonna say? What is he gonna do? I almost forgot about the bet. He really is the best actor in the world. But I know what's coming- kind of- and I'm not going to be the broken one tonight.
We go outside and he stops by the lit up arch. Nice setting.
Jack takes a slow, deep breath. "So... Elsa?"
I nod politely, but I'm too nervous to talk.
"Well. We've been friends for a while now, maybe even a little more than friends." Jack pauses. "I think you know what I'm trying to get out, so I'll skip the romantic stuff and just get to the point."
I nod my head again, waiting for him to finish another deep breath. Jack clears his throat and takes both of my hands softly, deciding to stare at them instead of my eyes.
"... Will you be my girlfriend?"
My breath catches as I stare into his beautiful blue eyes. He says it so smoothly, looks so sincere.
I slowly remove my hands from his, still staring into his eyes. They are calming; they make me happy. It's a shame it had to end this way.
"No." It's simple, but I say it firm and hard.
I watch as shock overcomes Jack's expression. His calm eyes and soft smile are replaced with utter surprise.
"W-what?" Why doesn't he just give up the act already?
"How stupid do you think I am?" I pause to let the words sink in. "I guess pretty stupid, if you think you can bet on me like a toy."
He remains shocked, but now realization enters his face.
"H-how long did you know?" Jack's voice falters and he stares at the ground.
For some reason, I soften my voice at the memory. "Ever since the day we turned in that cake. I heard you and Kristoff from behind the trees."
That seemed like such a long time ago. I actually liked him.
"Elsa, I-"
"No! Do not try to apologize to me!" All the bitterness I've been holding in comes flowing out like a waterfall. "Do you really think you could get away with something like this? Did you really think it would be that easy? To make me fall in love with you, crush my heart, get your money, and carry on with your life as if I never existed?
