Andy walks around the apartment with a look of pure awe. He can't believe this is where he gets to live now. Can't believe he's finally out of his parents' house and in London. "Rye this place is amazing."
Rye laughs, "It's also fucking expensive so thanks for moving in." He's been watching as the elder wanders through the apartment and it honestly looks adorable. "Oh and thanks for letting me vlog today to ya know make some money to pay my share of the rent."
The blond laughs loudly shaking his head, "Gotta admit it felt a bit weird being in front of the camera. Don't get how Sonny and you do it for both ya jobs." Andy has always felt uncomfortable in front of the camera, it makes him anxious and insanely aware of all his short comings.
"Well I don't know how you do your job so well, so I guess we're both just skilled differently." Rye shrugs, he doesn't even know what most buttons on Andy's cameras are for.
The door of the apartment swings open revealing a tall, lean brunette boy with a big grin on his face making Andy jump up in shock. "Rye, lad, you're not gonna believe who I am gonna fucking collab with mate!" The brunette has yet to look up from his phone and doesn't seem to realize Andy's even there, let alone that Rye isn't. The brunette does look awfully familiar, Andy just can't place him.
Andy coughs to catch the others attention waving awkwardly when he looks up. "Rye is at the store."
"Oh." The brunette sighs apologetically, "Sorry. Either I am ruining date night or you're his now roommate Alex was it? I am Jack." Andy quickly gets up from the couch to shake Jack's hand. The date night comment did stick out to him, is Rye gay? Probably not as he s had a public girlfriend and a lot of rumored ones as well. It's not a big deal, he's not straight himself, Andy just assumed Rye was.
"It's nice to meet you." Andy smiles, "I'd offer you a drink, but I honestly have no idea where everything is." Jack chuckles opening what Andy thought was a cupboard but turns out to actually be a fridge in the living room. What kind of place did he end up in?
"Would ya like a cold one?" Jack offers and Andy happily accepts the beer.
It doesn't take long for the two of them to start talking about random stuff, both enjoying the others company. "Some days it is hard ya know? I don't always feel funny, I have bad days too but I gotta force myself to do it and but content out because this is my livelihood and I can't just not upload." Jack tells him. Some asshole keeps harassing him at college about his job not being hard and how he should just get a really job after university. "It's not like it matter what the dick thinks anyways, I'll probably drop out of college next year and I am making loads more money then he ever will. It's just shit when people blatantly dismiss all your hard work, ya know?"
Andy nods, totally relating to what the other is saying. "I totally get it, people think all I do is click a button and they really don't understand all the work that comes with taking and editing a good picture.
"I've been here for like an hour and Rye is still not back." Jack complains making Andy chuckle. "What?" He questions.
"Rye's at Sonny's place. Just posted an insta pic." Andy explains showing the picture. "Oh and look, just texted me saying he'll be home in about an hour, he's just going over a gig with Sonny."
Jack's eyes light up at the mention of the tall Essex lad, "You know Sonny?"
Andy nods, "Yeah we've been mates for years. Known him since he was still Ryan."
"Damn that's a long ass time." Jack laughs. "Just want to apologize for just barging in earlier. I should've knocked or something, It's just I am used to it being Rye and he's given me a key for when I need to come over."
Andy shakes his head, "Nah bro, no apologies needed. I am cool with you just coming over, its cool really."
"Okay, well expect to see me loads then." He chuckles, looking around a little lost. "Do you know Memeulous?" Andy nods, he's seen him in a video or two of Sonny's. "He's the guy I am collabing with, the one I yelled about when I came in."
Andy nods impressed, "That's sick, he's got like 3.2 mil right?"
"Yeah, it's bloody insane." Jack agrees. "Sonny set it up for me."
