The atmosphere at Thor's third birthday is to cut, not because the kid isn't having a good time, but because Jack and Sonny haven't talked since their little fight. Jack has been sleeping and filming in Brooklyn's room as Sonny and he share a room.
You see as Jack is only seventeen he obviously hasn't been living in the flat for the last two years like Brooklyn, Thor and Sonny, no he moved in six months ago after a year of secretly dating Sonny without his parents knowing. His parents seem to believe Thor's room is Jack's, despite it being filled with kids toys. Moving in with your twenty year old boyfriend when you're seventeen is obviously ridiculously scary, but it felt like the right move for both of them. Jack had the money and London would help him in his YouTube career, Sonny loves Jack and wants nothing more than to have him close at all times, so obviously when Jack mentioned he wanted to move to London he offered moving in with Brooklyn and him.
"They're fucking awkward." Rye laughs, letting himself fall down on the couch next to Andy who's just watching a lot of complete strangers laugh and talk around the flat. It's his first birthday with the group and he's feeling a bit out of place.
Andy agrees, Jack and Sonny keep glancing at each other but they don't say a thing "I can't believe they haven't talked it out yet."
"You should've been there." Rye sighs, "It seemed like nothing, but you could feel it was a big deal."
"I think you shouldn't forget Jack is only seventeen you know. He might be very responsible when it comes to work, but he's just a teenage kid trying to figure out life." Andy is right, there's a big difference between twenty and seventeen. "Sonny might not see it as a big deal, but it is to Jack and he cares a lot about what people think about him. Growing up with a homophonic family can't be making this any easier for him either. If he admits to dating Sonny his family might disown him, but I also get that when you've been together with someone for two years them not wanting to tell others sucks." At least Andy seems to get both sides, Rye is honestly too scared they might break up to really think about it.
