“Rye people think we are actually getting married?” Mikey almost falls of his chair from laughing. “Clever has even done a video on it already.”
Rye shrugs as he focuses on setting up his filming equipment. He is lucky he took it with him today because he wasn’t planning on filming at all today, yet here he is. He was going to upload a video of Thor picking out his outfits for a week as it's the toddlers birthday this week and it just seemed like a really fun concepts, but guess what? He somehow managed to delete a whole week worth of footage so now he has nothing to post, but still an uploading schedule to keep up with. He gets that it may seem dumb to keep to a schedule as strictly as he does and that there's plenty of youtubers that just upload whenever they want or have a video done, but not keeping to hus schedule actually makes Rye extremely anxious and feel like he has failed. He guesses he job does sometimes get the best of him. Luckily Mikey is so gracious to help him film this new video, like literally forty minutes before the wedding starts.
While the two thought it would be funny to jokingly upload a cheeky picture to their Instagram stories with the caption ‘We're getting married.’ but it seems some of their fans have taken the joke a bit too serious, which was to be expected as they've been shipped together for quite a long time. Rye once looked it up and the amount of fanfics written about them is insane, talking about fanfics, Mike and he should definitely film a video reading fanfiction together, that would be absolute banter.
Of course it's not actually them that are getting married, but one of their childhood best friends. Not a lot of people know this but Mikey and Rye actually used to be neighbors, the amount of trouble the two of them have gotten in together is absolutely out of this world.
“So what are we filming today?” Mikey questions when I sit down next to him, finally having everything set up the way I want it and recording. “You'll find out.” I say and start my intro, “Hello beautiful people, welcome to the Mike and Rye show, today we'll be answering to most searched questions about ourselves!”
We spend the next thirty or so minutes recording and answering questions. “Rye Beaumont gay?” Rye reads out, “No actually not, but I did recently come out as bisexual on Versace’s channel, so give that a watch! Link in bio. Video going more in detail will be up on this channel soon though.” He quickly plugs the video.
