It's been three hours and eight minutes since he left. Three hours and fifteen minutes since Sonny walked into Jack packing his bags. "Jack, what are you doing?" Sonny had questioned with a shaky voice, he knew exactly what was happening, his worst nightmare was coming true, Jack was leaving him. He may have thought that he couldn't wait another two years for Jack to be ready, but right now seeing Jack pack his back he knows that he'd rather wait another six years than to lose him.
Jack looks up, clearly surprised to see Sonny. Normally on Tuesdays Sonny is at the gym between nine and eleven am, but today he just wasn't feeling it so he went home an hour early just to walk in on this. "Packing my bag." Jack deadpans, he knows this is not the time to get emotional. Just hearing Sonny's shaky voice breaks him, but he needs to do this for his own sake, so he can't let it show how much doing this hurts him as well.
"W-Why?" Sonny asks, his vision already blurry from the tears that are starting to form at the brim of his eye. Jack is leaving him, he realizes in panic, Jack is really leaving him. What if he never comes back? He can't let Jack leave him!
Jack sighs and zips his bag close, "I am staying at James and Fraser's for a little."
"Please don't." Sonny knows it's hopeless, but he begs anyways. "Stay."
The brunette shakes his head, a sad smile gracing his face, alongside a tired pair of eyes. "I need time and space to think, Son." He sighs and steps a little closer to Sonny. "And I need to do that on my own, I can't do that if you're everywhere I go."
Sonny swallows a lump in his throat, "Are you coming back?" Does he even want to know the answer to that question? The raven haired boy is uncertain.
"I hope so." Jack loves Sonny so much, but right now he doesn't know what he's going to do. He's too all over the place to make a choice of any kind.
"Me too." Sonny nods. "I love you."
Jack presses a kiss to Sonny's cheek, "To the moon and back." And with that the young youtuber walks out of the door, leaving Sonny to feel more alone than he's ever felt before. Sonny's never been more grateful that Brooklyn and Thor weren't home before, he can't have them see him break down like this. It doesn't matter how good looking you are, even models don't look good with a broken heart sobbing on their bedroom floor.
Jack and Sonny had just spoken for the first time in a solid two weeks, but what if that was also the last time they'll ever speak again?
"Do you know what's going on with, Sonny?" Andy questions, settling down on the couch with a nice big plate of steaming noodles. "His tweets are concerning me quite a bit." The blonde notes, scrolling through his timeline. Seeing Sonny tweet about the love of his life having left him is quite concerning.
Rye frowns and leans closer to Andy to read the tweets on his screen, they're hours old. Andy and Rye had gone out for the day, deciding today would make for a great internet free day. The duo had left their phones in the car and gone to shoot some pictures at the famous Abbey Road. They also filmed a Beatles inspired look book for Rye's channel at the location and went for a couple of drinks afterwards. The day had been great, but it had also meant that they missed a shit ton of texts, social media notifications and emails. All of which they decided they wouldn't check until they made some dinner and decided on a Netflix series to watch. They ended up deciding on Elite while they were cooking as the new series has just dropped. "Haven't got a clue, maybe things with Jack are getting to him? He's been having a rather rough time with it." Rye offers between a mouth full of noodles. He totally gets why Sonny's taking it so hard, Jack and him have been together for a long time and now it feels like everything is slipping through his fingers. Part of Rye wishes he had that, someone that made saying goodbye really hard. Let him rephrase that, he already has that, but he just wishes someone felt the same. Specifically the freshly bleached blonde pressed against him, who's currently looking at his screen with a worried frown on his face. Andy is so pretty and Rye is falling so hard. It's becoming a problem, he's barely able to concentrate on anything when Andy's around and it's also gotten to the point where Rye swears Andy's flirting with him, but he's probably reading too much into it as he really likes Andy. It's just wishful thinking. The little too long lasting touches are just touches and the lingering looks are just looks. Andy's long hugs and fast pecks on the lips when Rye does something that makes him really happy don't mean anything, he's just a very affectionate person, yeah that's it.
"I should shoot him a text." Andy thinks out loud and Rye hums in agreement as he slowly lets himself slide down a little and cuddle up to Andy. God today has been tiring and he'll take any excuse to get up close and personal with Andy.
