Ch 30 Defense!

Standing there watching her in the waves, my heart sinks. why does she fight this, me, us? 

what has or who has hurt her so bad that she would walk away from being happy like this. I'm in shock as well as confusion. 

My girl is mad, upset and hurt, to say the less and there is nothing I can do? 

She wants me to leave but, I don't think that's what she really wants me to do, I will return to Ireland for business I need to attend to but I will not be absent long in her life, I know she is needing more she is just too proud to ask for it. 

Which to my wolf is a true LUNA on he is proud of as well and infuriated by, tonight of all nights she tests our abilities. the moon should be out tonight but I have miss calculated it. this has only happened once before, thankfully it didn't keep my secret from coming out this time.   

I hear her screaming in my head, vocalizing would only draw attention to her, the attention she doesn't clearly want or need at this moment. 

Today was going so well, we had amazing sex this time far better than every time. Although she was there to give us a break her body said otherwise. 

taking my shoes off and socks that I tuck into the shoe taking them with me as I walk down the beach picking up her shoes. she wouldn't normally through gifts around but seeing as tonight had been trying I don't even care I will by her a million more if she wanted them. I sigh closing the distance between us, but only so far so she can't see me. I want to give her a moment or more if she needs I have invaded her space long enough for one night. 

my wolf completely possessive of her. I stand there waiting for her whenever she is ready we will go, head back clean up and eat something more than festival food. and talk maybe if she's up for it. 

"OEH! " someone yells from the beach stone steps at me pointing to her. I look back and she isn't standing where she was. 

DAMN IT!  where the hell is she from where I stand I can't see her yet. but I hear her. 

"baby, where are you?" I ask her using the link. 

"Went for a swim" she answers 

"the men here are saying something maybe you should come out of the water,"  I tell her. 

"the men here say a lot of shit, so what" she replies. 

I groan out waving to the guys, but both shake there head telling me something I don't understand. gesturing that I should go get her. 

I through the shoes down and take off the clothes im wearing down to my box briefs and head into the waters, chilled by nothing we can't handle. 

a few feet in I see her, she is standing in the deeper waves letting them hit her chest. 

"baby, we need to go in something, not okay her,"  I tell her

"She nods, and lets me take her back to the beach this time the water is harder to walk out of like there is a strong undercurrent pulling us back, and then I see the men running out to us. they come as close as the can before they can only try to reach us telling us something only she knows. 

"SI, SI,!" is all I get out of what they are saying meaning get out, get out" I grab her lifting her up into my arms her romper sticking to her as I use my wolf straight to guide us out. the waters so damn strong I almost fall with her in my arms at least once. 

I growl pulling the rest of what I have in me to get us out. 

Safely on the beach, the men are speaking with her looking at me knowing I don't speak her language.
