Ch 26 After Bite!

 This power over me, like nothing before and never again. 

Sebastian and I arrive in town it's now 930pm almost another hour since the last when we were trying to get here. My mind wondering over everything that just happened. 

I was his mate before, but feeling completely taken over by something else and not being able to communicate until he commanded it out of me. I have no words and since we have both gotten in the car I haven't sad anything. this night going from pure bliss to some strange shit is once again affecting me but this time my son may be in danger and I don't know how to react to that.  I know to protect him but my body wants to react and only protect my alpha now as if my son doesn't matter.  Im not liking this at all I sigh noticing his hand on my legs rubbing me to soothe me somehow. It works for a moment until the other half of me, maybe my human half removes his hand something I never thought I would do.

"besides the obvious what else is bothering you baby?" he says as we park near the town center.

"My son I know to keep him safe from this, but something else in me is making me only want to protect you and discard the rest. why?"

"It's animal traits he isn't my offspring so your wolf doesn't recognize him as my bloodline" he sighs in an angry tone. then adds "I'm sorry, but I won't let you or anyone harm him until you have controlled her,"  he says

I nod still looking out the window unsure of what to make of this foreign feeling in me. 

"okay" I whisper trusting him knowing I have always trusted him and I'm safe with him. 

he gets out the car and opens my door for me, handing me his hand and leading me out. I take it and stand there feeling feverish next to him. I pull him close for a second nudging my nose into him smelling him deep this time. 

"baby, she is still in there asking my wolf to tame her but you have to control her, I can only commend her when she's out not in" he whispers to me making me break contact and lean back 

"love I did this to you, I never meant to but I will fix it and help you trust me baby will you?" he says taking me in his arms for. a hug. 

"Mommy, there you are finally where have you been" I hear a child's voice say that two little arms wrap around me and start to push between Sebastian and I and I feel her growl low and deep.  my son looking up at me unaware of the change in me and then Sebastian's voice in my head and ear saying " LUNA, this is your son my son! you are to treat him with love, care and protect him at all cost as you would be even if you don't recognize him, nod yes if you hear me and understand" 

I do I nod yes and look up at Seb who takes my chin to kiss my cheek. 

"Hey Gavin, how is the festival tonight?" he leans down speaking now to my son his words still in my head "his son" to protect him if nothing else. 

"Maria you okay, you look like you saw a ghost " my mom says to me snapping me out of it 

"yeah no im fine, I wasn't feeling good earlier and Sebastian got me some fresh air I'm good now" I say watching her raise an eyebrow at me and then smacking Sebastian arm playfully but my inner wolf watching her hand wanting to grab it. as I refrain from it. I feel Seb touch my back only to help calm me

"what did you do to her, you were gone 2 hours" she asks him smiling then adds " Yeah I know, you didn't feel good my ass, I don't feel good either you want to get me some fresh air"  my mom says laughing her ass off and gesture to us to follow her
