Fifty-Six: Yearbook and Diary

Shelby gladly followed her lover. She was hoping that Audrey's parents wouldn't say anything about finding them naked in bed or having sex. She didn't think about it at the time, but they most likely heard them, and she felt herself blushing at the embarrassing thought.

As they arrived downstairs, Amélia was at the kitchen preparing some tea, and John was nowhere to be seen.

The actress guided them to the kitchen, smiling at her mother. "Hey, mom."

"Oh, hey honey." Amélia smiled back. "How are you guys?"

"We're good," Shelby said with a small smile. "How are you?" she asked softly.

"I'm okay, sweetheart. Thank you so much." Amélia smiled, turning to them with a cup of tea. "Are you guys hungry?"

"We are, actually." Audrey chuckled. "Me and your father bought you a velvet cake, it's in the fridge."

"Really?! Thank you so much, Momma!" Audrey smiled excitedly.

"You're welcome and thank you too." Shelby smiled at how excited her lover was. She went over to the fridge to grab the cake.

Audrey went over to grab the plates. "Are you eating, mom?"

"Yes, baby, thank you." Amélia smiled as she sat on the table. Audrey smiled as she took the plates and the silverware, placing it on the table as well.

Shelby placed the cake on the table before grabbing a knife to cute three pieces. "Is John eating too?" she asked.

"Thanks, babygirl." Audrey smiled at her lover before sitting down.

"He's not, honey." Amélia said softly.

"Where's Dad, by the way?" the actress asked.

"He's finishing the game, should be here soon."

"Okay," Shelby said before placing the slices on the plates and handing one to each person. She sat down next to Audrey before grabbing a fork. "And you're welcome, baby." She said with a soft smile.

Audrey nodded at her mom, soon taking a fork as well, Amélia too. The actress took the first bite, humming at the flavor. "Is it from Jena's bakery?"

"Yes." Amélia smiled as she took a bite as well. "Same taste, right?"

"Mhm."

Shelby took a bite, humming at the taste. "Mm, this is so good!"

"It used to be Audrey's favorite when she was little. We always have it for special occasions." Amélia explained, the actress nodding as she chuckled shyly.

"I'll have to keep that in mind," Shelby said with a small smile.

Audrey giggled as she took another huge bite.

"Maybe you guys could have small cupcakes at your wedding? Red velvet ones?" Amélia offered.

Shelby smiled at the idea. "I wouldn't mind that. What do you think, babe?"

"I think it'd be perfect," Audrey mumbled as she chewed a specific big bite. Her lips were covered in cake.

Shelby chuckled when she saw her lover's face. She picked up a napkin and wiped her lips clean.

Amélia couldn't help but laugh, shaking her head as she did so. "Oh, Audrey."

The actress blushed fiercely, giggling as her lover cleaned her. "Thank you, baby." She said shyly.

"Of course, gorgeous." Shelby smiled softly before returning to her food.

Audrey giggled again before continuing to eat.
