Eighty-Four: Night cuddles

"I'm sure it will, my love." Audrey smiled, snuggling closer to Shelby and unlocking her phone, putting it in a position both could see the screen.

Shelby set her phone to the side and cuddled closer into her lover's embrace. "I love how optimistic you are sometimes." She smiled.

"Yeah..." Audrey giggled shyly, opening the Twitter App and going to her dashboard. The first tweet that appeared read:

'I met Audrey and Shelby in the plane today!!! They were so incredibly sweet! I love them so much and Audrey even hugged me 😭😭' It also had the pictures they took attached to it.

"Awe!" Shelby smiled brightly. "Comment a heart or a cute emoji from the both of us."

"Okay." Audrey giggled. "When they realize I'm online, my mentions begin to explode." She said, opening the tweet and answering it with a simple '💜💜 from me and Shelby'.

"I'm sure it'll be good things." Shelby said, smiling as she saw her lover's reply.

Audrey smiled up at her lover, proceeding to look at other tweets. Another one in her timeline read:

'Audrey is looking so cute in that new plane picture! And the way Shelby is holding her 😍😍 goals'

Shelby smiled at the tweets.

'Couple goals ❤️'

'They look so happy!! #shaudrey'

Audrey couldn't help but smile even more. "Those are so cute!" She said, clicking on the Shaudrey tag.

There were a few pictures of the one on the plane, but the younger Shelby was cropped out and there were hearts added around them. "I like that, but I don't like how they cropped Shelby out. She was so nice, she should be in it too."

"I agree." The actress nodded, rolling down a little more. A certain tweet caught her eye.

'What the fuck is wrong with people?! This stupid paparazzi calling Shelby a whore?! No wonder Audrey fucking lost it! #Shaudrey'

Shelby read it as well, and but her lip. "Some people are nice." She smiled softly.

"Yes... let me check my timeline once again." Audrey said, going back to the front page and scrolling it down, new tweets appearing.

'I can't believe this fucking asshole called Shelby a whore!'

'What the fuck!? @AudreyTindall I'm so sorry! Tell Shelby we're here to support her!'

Shelby smiled softly. "Can you like those comments?"

"Yes." Audrey said, starting to favorite all the supportive messages. "I'll tweet a little something." She said before opening the tweet box. 'Thank you guys so much for the support. Paparazzis can really ruin a fun time, and sometimes we lose it since we are just humans'.

"I think that's perfect, baby." Shelby said before placing a kiss on her lover's cheek.

Audrey smiled as she blocked her phone back and put it aside, hugging Shelby tightly right after. "I love you."

"I love you too." Shelby smiled brightly as she pulled Audrey close.

Audrey buried her face into the crook of her lover's neck, caressing her waist lovingly. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, are you?" Shelby asked softly as she held her lover close.

"Mhm." Audrey nodded, tangling their legs together. "I'm just... worried, you know." She sighed softly. "I don't want you believing in what those horrible people tell you."
