~Gianna Velkerie's Pov~

I silently got out from the other side of the door way. I stood up from my crouched position and waited for Ivan to come out.

The fresh wind blew my hair back, making me take a deep breath of the refreshing air. I closed my eyes and let the breeze calm me.

"Woah." I heard Ivan say from behind me. I opened my eyes and turned around to face Ivan.

He was looking at the spectacular and magical scenery in front of us.

The beautiful green forest stood, the tiny fairies sprinkling their magic to keep the garden magical and alluring. The flowers were in full bloom and the grass were trimmed to perfection and were kept tidy and neat.

I walked behind Ivan and crouched down to close the tiny door, making sure to lock it tight so no one could enter.

I stood up again, walking past Ivan and down the narrow pathway. I felt so at peace here. It took all my worries away.

"What's this place?" Ivan asked in awe.

"It's a sacred place I discovered last year. No one in this kingdom except me knows this place exists. That's why I always come here to think." I explained, hearing his footsteps follow behind me.

I plucked out a two dandelions of different types and slowly started to pick out the petals one by one on the first dandelion. After two minutes, we finally arrived at my favorite spot.

It was a lonely tree up on a hill and it stood out. It was the most beautiful tree in this entire garden and it was where most of the fairies stayed to take a rest.

I walked on over to the tree trunk and gracefully sat down on the ground, settling in my comfy spot. I looked up at Ivan and gave him a questioning look, nodding my head to the side- gesturing for him to take a seat next to him.

He quickly followed pursuit and sat down, finding a comfy spot to sit in. I leaned backwards, my back resting on the tree trunk. I curled up into a ball, pulling my knees up to my chest and hugging my arms around my knees. I let out a satisfied sigh, hearing the tiny tinkles the fairies were making.

"How did you discover this place?"

"Being an only child has its advantages and disadvantages. You would know since you are also an only child." I explained to him, looking at him as he nodded for me to continue.

"But unlike most children, I don't get much attention. Yes, I do here and there but I just don't get attention. My parents are usually busy and the maids don't really talk to me. They're only there to do their jobs. Except Ms. Syrean. She always tries to make me feel welcomed- I have a feeling that she knows me more than my own mother- which is really sad when you think about it." I said sadly, as I continued talking.

"So they usually leave me be, to explore the kingdom or do whatever I want. They turn a blind eye from me so they let me have anything I want. I could buy a horse and a carriage and they still wouldn't care!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands up in the air.

"I just want my parents to notice me- not like glancing at me for one second or asking me how my day was and then ignoring me right after that."

"I just want them to notice me- for me. Not just a princess or the future queen who would rule this kingdom. I want them to know me as their daughter." I mumbled out, hiding my face in my hands.

I felt hands wrap themselves around me and hug me from behind. Ivan's head rested on my shoulder as wrapped my arms around my knees once again and looked at him.

"Every thing's going to fall into place and be alright. It just requires time." He said quietly, hugging me tightly then releasing me. He picked up the second dandelion I plucked out and gave it to me, giving me a boyish smile.

"Now make a wish." I rolled my eyes at his comment, but closed my eyes anyway, holding the dandelion tightly then finally opening my eyes.

I blew on the dandelion, the white fluff flowing in the wind as I made my wish. Smiling as I looked to my side to see that Ivan was still standing there and that he wasn't just in my dreams- he was there in reality.
