~Rose Genavean's Pov~

Today's been very hectic, washing clothes, taking out the trash, making lunch for the Posh's and so much more. I wiped the sweat off my forehead, grabbing the last batch of clothes off the hangers, folding it neatly and putting it inside of the laundry basket. I grabbed the laundry basket and carried it inside of the kingdom, opening the door with one hand and using my hip to close it. I walked down the hall, getting side tracked a bit since I got lost but found the way after a couple of turns.

I opened the door to the laundry room and started to unload the clothes into the rack.

"No, don't unload it here. Unload it in the Prince's room." A maid who didn't even bother introducing herself said to me.

All I did was nod at her, not wanting to cause a scene on how annoyed I was. I put the clothes back into the basket and went outside of the room, walking towards the Prince's room. I felt a bit anxious, feeling my stomach turn. I opened the door slowly, walking inside when the close was clear. I knew that I shouldn't be afraid or expect that one of the Posh's would walk up on me since they went out to meet a family friend.

When I went inside his room, I got a good whiff of his perfume, making my heart race a bit. His room was clean and tidy. He had a bookshelf filled with old books and folders with all kinds of colors. I put the basket down for a second just to take a look at a book that caught my eye. I delicately took it out of the bookshelf and held it in my hand, skimming my fingers over the top of the book.

"Destiny Lead Me To You." I read it out loud, opening it up to the first page. My eyes looked over the words, wanting to take the book and read the whole thing but I went against it, putting it back in its place after I read the third chapter.

I went back to the task at hand, going to his walk-in closet and opening the doors. Picking up the basket, I started to fold everything back up and placing it on the racks, making sure that it was color coded and in season.

I finished the job quickly, walking out of the closet and closing the doors. I took a deep breath and his scent went inside my nostrils. I sighed in content, loving the warm feeling I got inside this room. I quickly walked outside before I did anything I would regret later on. I grabbed the basket with me and walked down the hall, putting the basket in its rightful place.

I went inside of the kitchen, seeing the other maids making food for the Posh's. They completely ignored me, not even acknowledging my presence. I rolled my eyes, not even bothering to state my presence since I knew that no one would respond to me.

I heard the door bell ring and no one even cared to open the door, so I walked over to open it. I opened it cautiously, seeing if it was an intruder or not- but I was greeted by none other than Ivan Posh, smiling sweetly at me. I opened the door widely now, giving him a shy smile of my own, welcoming him inside of the kingdom.

"Welcome home Prince Ivan." I said shyly, my cheeks heating up for no reason.

"Hello Rose, nice to see you." He said smiling, his dimples showing in his face.

"Uh, yeah. Come in." I said quickly, standing out of the door way. I heard him chuckle underneath his breath, making my cheeks heat up even more.

He went inside the kingdom, taking off his jacket that he had on and I took it off his hands, folding it neatly as I was told from the other maids in the kingdom. I looked outside, waiting for his parents to reach the door.

"You don't have to wait for them. They can handle themselves." I heard Prince Ivan say from beside me, I was startled that he was talking to me so I just looked at him.

"B-But-" I tried to tell him that I couldn't just leave his parents outside but he just waved me off, telling me to follow along- which I did, because I couldn't disrespect royalty.

"Hey, do you know where to keep this? I have a habit of picking flowers but don't know where to put it exactly. Usually I put it in a bouquet for my best friend but it usually dies before we get there so, here you go." He said casually, handing me the beautiful purple flower.

"I-I.." I stuttered, not knowing what to do.

He rolled his eyes playfully at me, grabbing my free hand and opening it; putting the flower in my hand and closing it tightly.

"Keep it for me, would you?" He said softly, his brown eyes looking at me, making me blush even more.

"O-Okay.." I said quietly, looking down at the floor. I felt a finger go under my chin and lift my head up, making me look at his gorgeous face. My eyes widened at him when his eyes examined my face.

"Don't be shy to talk to any one of us Royals, we are just like you. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise." He whispered, his eyes locked my lips.

The only thing I could do was nod my head, afraid that I would stumble over my own words if I spoke. He chuckled lowly, backing away a bit and turned around; starting to walk away from me until he said something that made me squeak and blush even harder.

"By the way, you look cute when you blush." He said, winking my way before walking out of my sight.
