~Rose Genavean's Pov~

It's been three weeks of this. I would always have the same dream- Ivan and I having a good time until I get somehow killed. Each day, that girl gets clearer but when I try to get a good glimpse at her, she gets blurry and I have to do it all over again. After the dream, I would wake up drenched in sweat and panting, and go outside to see Ivan already sitting on the couch waiting for me.

Today was one of those nights. I woke up to be drenched in my sweat. It was like a daily routine now, so I prepare a bucket of cold water beside me along with face towel. I sat up straight, sighing out in dissatisfaction. I grabbed the towel from my bedside table and put it inside of the cold bucket of water, the towel soaking up the water. I patted my face with the cold towel, waking myself up instantly. After I was done using it, I twisted it over the bucket letting it pour the water out of the towel. Once the towel was fairly dry, I put it on my table, standing up and heading outside of the maid's quarter.

When I closed the door silently, I walked towards the living room; expecting to see Ivan there. But much to my disappointment, he wasn't. A frown settled on my lips as I scanned the room, trying to find where he was. After a good minute or two, I gave up, running a hand through my hair. I walked towards the kitchen, opening a cabinet and grabbing a wooden cup. Us commoners get wooden glasses instead of actual glass since glass is only for the 'upper class'.

I filled the cup up with water, gulping it down immediately. I washed the cup and put it back in the cabinet, like it was never been moved or used by me. I walked around a bit, walking down the hall to find the grand-father clock ticking.

'I guess this is another sleepless night.' I thought to myself, walking to the storage room to get something.

Once I got to the storage room, I pulled on the string turning on the light; walking inside. I walked to the back of the room and looked through a box to find my clip board with my name on it.

Rose Genavean

Chores:

Make beds.

Do laundry.

Clean living room.

Make Lunch for the Royals.

And the list went on and on, making me roll my eyes. I guess I have an early head start for the day. I quickly went out of the storage room, turning off the lights in the process. I held the clip board tightly in my hand, my daily chores on this three paged paper.

I went back to the living room, deciding to do one of my chores right now. Much to my surprise, I see Ivan standing in the middle of the room, holding a Bell flower in his hand. I saw him groan, running his free hand down his pretty face.

"Hey." I called out, coming out of the corner. His head snapped towards my direction, his eyes locking on mine.

"Hey." He replied, breathlessly.

"What are you doing here?"

"I-I actually want to talk to you."

"About?"

"Well,"

"Can we talk later? I'm going to do my chores." I told him, annoyed that he wasn't waiting for me like usual.

"It's urgent." He said desperately.

"It can wait Ivan." I replied, looking down at the ground. I started to walk past him, but he grabbed my hand.

"Please." He pleaded.

"Ivan. Not now." I said sternly, unhooking his hand with mine.

He shocked me by taking away the clip board from my hands and dropping it on the ground. It made a quiet thud, and I stared at him angrily.
