(Shawn is not famous here)

There was he; playing his guitar, looking gorgeous as usual. He doesn't need any attention at all. Men are already looking at him. Girls are drooling over him. And then, there is me. A girl who is secretly admiring him. I wasn't the only one, but I was the only one who could keep it as a secret.
Shawn was someone who had people around him, he had talent.
I tried to give him some glances, but these girls in front of me didn't make it easier for me.

"You should dance with him. He would say yes." My best friend whispered to me. She was the only one who knew about my crush.

"No, don't you see the many girls around him. I'm not getting his attention and I don't think I ever will."

Exactly at this moment the girls in front of me walked away and now I was pretty much existent at this Party.  Shawn gave me a long look. His eyes were intimidating. You couldn't look away. I think it was the first time; that he recognized me.
He gave me a smile and continued to play with his guitar.

"And you said you won't get his attention. Look at you, wearing this long red dress with your hair open. Your long legs are slightly out. No one could resist this masterpiece."
I just laughed which made him look at me again. I need to stop.

"Stop. I'm going out, it's pretty hot here. Meet me outside if you need help." I lowered my voice. She just gave me a "ok look".

It wasn't cold, the weather was more windy which I needed it right now. The stars were shining above this little place.

"What are you doing here on your own?" A voice behind me appeared. It was him. He took a place beside me, he also looked at the stars.

"I needed fresh air. It was pretty hot."

"You right, but what made you to come here? I never saw you at this district."

He was right. I usually don't attend party's here. This scene was more involved with hard drugs, making out with someone. Typically not really my thing.

"It's crazy. How the universe handles your time." He mumbled.

"Yeah, it's beautiful but at the same time creepy."

I'm pretty sure the stars above us, gave him a feeling to be honest. I didn't mind it. It was good. He talked wisely about some topics. Nothing what I had imagined.

"Would you like to dance? The music is pretty loud and I would like to dance with you in this atmosphere; you know being free." He suggested.

Not pretty sure why the hell he would dance with me. All the time I thought he didn't recognize me. Maybe, he did and I just wanted to avoid him. I gave him a quick nod.

His hand was placed on my back and the another held my hand. Those brown eyes were just mesmerizing. You got lost in them, his smile made you happier. Our bodies were now closer than it should be, he turned me around. Now, his head was laying on my shoulders, but his eyes were focused on the stars.

"I have never seen a shooting star in my entire life, kinda disappointing," he broke the tension between us. Not really sure why he talks about it, but I'm sure it has a reason.

"Did you ever see a shooting star?" he asked, his eyes glaring at me.

"Uhm, yeah? But why are you asking me that?" I got out of his grip which lead him to look confused.

"Our dance don't forget it, like, how People don't forget the shooting stars they have seen. Goodbye."

Without an explanation, without anything he left me here on my own.
Shawn was walking in the house again and didn't even look back.
What was his mission? to dance with me and then to leave me like that?
I wasn't just a girl who he could play with.
