Real talk with Y'all, this book only has 6 chapters left, and I don't think (spoiler warning) our new boi will be able to fit into my storyline... I already have so many twists, and it's such an innocent book, I don't think it'll happen.

Little Roman was a big enough boy to know he wanted cuddles, now. If that meant chasing Alex around the coffee table all afternoon, that's what it meant!

It had been about 20 minutes, and Ro had already started getting dizzy, so when the cat scattered to a new direction, the child was grateful. Roman followed Alex about 12 feet to into the imagination before he realized where he was. Alex took Roman all the way to the topsy turvy forest before they stopped dead in their tracks, there laid a blue and purple striped cat who was just a little chubby. That was Alex's partner in crime.

"Chessie!" Came a small female voice, straight from the cat's mouth.

"Oh! Hello dear! How are you today?"

"Fine. My small owner followed me here, you already know Roman."

Roman was, in fact, a few feet from Alex, completely gobsmacked, "YOU CAN TALK?"

"Only in the imagination. All animals talk."

"Roman, you look different?" commented Cheshire.

"My humans shrink, do they not here?"

"Besides Alice, no."

"How peculiar."

"I believe it's time for tea, shall we meet with Hatter?"

"Oh, I was so sure we had plans today."

"Mischief, you mean? We could always arrange something."

"What if we paint the red roses white!"

"Don't you mean the white roses red?"

"Nope! I switched the seeds last time we were out!"

"My god, aren't you trouble."

"I try."

Roman was still very confused.

"So, you two just cause trouble?"

"It's called fun, lighten up a bit human!"

"Shall we get, Author? They love our games!"

Ro perked, "Friend? I know them!"

"Wonderful! We shall have fun then!"

The three inquired Author-Chan and got busy causing mischief all day.

Sorry for the short chapter, I want to get something up today, but I just lost motivation all of a sudden. Depression, ya know?

Btw, I want to change my name for dysphoria reasons, and I was wondering if y'all had any suggestions. I really like Pluto, but I'm slightly on the fence because I'm not sure my parents will like it.
