I awoke next morning after an eventful night tired from all that running with a terrible headache. I ran to the toilet and threw up again and again. Jeez i really need to get this checked out. I changed and headed downstairs to the kitchen. I haven't seen my aunt in 3 years she looked same as ever. Same long black here like my mom ,her sister. Oh how i miss her. Hey nic did you sleep well she asked you look a little pale are you sick or something? She said. Yes i think i have the flu. I explained my symptoms to her and when it started she looked embarrassed as she ask me the next question. When last did you have sex? I think you might be pregnant. I counted back the date and realized i was late very late. No,no no this can't be happening. Do you want to go by a doctor she asks. I nodded my head ok get dress we can go now. I dressed in a daze. We took a bus to town and went to the clinic. We sat in the office waiting for my name to be called. She assured me if i was really pregnant i should be happy. She will help me take care of the baby and i can help work with her in her little sewing shop . When i thought i left behind jason trying to kill me if he finds out I'm pregnant now he'll surely do it. Nicole john the nurse called taking me out of my daze. After all the questions and blood test she came back with the results. I cried so much when she told me I'm pregnant . She gave me a brochure about my different options. I walked out the room and cried when my aunt came. The bus ride home was the longest and quietest. My aunt and i sat down and talked about what I wanted to do. I definitely didn't want to abort my baby don't matter how evil the father is. She was happy with that saying that a baby is a blessings. I got a nice little work with her in her shop sewing for people and as the months pass i pushed thoughts of Jason to the back of my mind all i wanted was to hold my baby in my arms. Every day i grew more and more excited and was staring to be happy again before all the drama . I hadn't spoken to kara since i ran away from Jason because i felt there is the first place where he might look for me. I changed my aunt's phone number a few days after i arrived in case he found it on the phone. After a few months and lots of doctors visits later i was due any day now. My midwife took my info to the hospital to register me in. That's in case i need to go hurry and she isn't around. Two days later while I'm sitting in the doctor office for my regular check up my water bag burst and the pain started. I was taken to the hospital immediately and taken to the delivery room 30 minutes later he was born Nicolas jay Mathews. Nicolas is Jason's middle name. Even if he never sees him at least he will know that's his dad's name. A few days later while resting from the hospital looking at Nicolas sleep, he looks so much like Jason. My aunt isn't here she went to work. My phone rang, i answered without looking at the screen. The voice on the other end made me panic hello i said. He answered . Did you actually tell yourself i wouldn't find you. How stupid do you think i am. He said through gritted teeth before hanging up. He hung up. I started to panic he found me and he's still pissed off.
Jason's pov
Its been almost 10 months since Nicole left and i finally found her. I still haven't found out how she tipped them off since her call log came up empty. I started to think that someone set her up but i brushed that thought aside. If she wasn't guilty why the hell did she run. After i got her new number from the phone company thanks to thomas i got her address and i called her . She sounded terrified on the phone. I called Rogers and lex. Half hour later we were on our way to her location. An hour and a half later we were at the address. She was already on the move . A cab was parked in the entrance and she just got in the back seat .i parked and watched as her aunt brought out her bags and handed her . She closed the door and waved good bye to her as the cab drove off. I followed the taxi. I pulled in front of it about 20 mins from the house. I came out with my gun in my hand and pointed it at the driver. I walked to the back door and opened it. Get out! I shouted at her. Hearing her muffled cries. She hesitated so i reached in and grabbed her arm to pull her out and she came out but i wasn't expecting what she had cradled in her arm.
Nicole pov
As he hung up the phone i called my aunt to come home explaining to her that Jason was coming for me she told me she was on her way home to pack by the time she will organize a cab for me. I put nicolas down for a nap and started packing my things and his things in bags. Everything was moving very slowly like the world wasn't on my side today . My aunt came after waiting almost and hour to get transport 20 mins away the cab too forever to find the address. It finally came and i walked out with my bags and my aunt came out with Nicolas she handed me him then my bags and waved me good bye as the cab pulled away. I sat in the car thinking where would i go after since is to a hotel I'm going now. There was a long screeching noise and the cab jolted to a stop, a big black car blocking its path. The driver emerged with his gun in his hand and pointed it at the cab. My hear was thumping in my chest as i saw who it was. Jason. He opened the door and told me to get out. I was frozen with fear on the seat. He reached in and starting pulling me out while i started crying. Then he stopped when he saw nicolas cradled in my arm. Different emotions crossed his face. Anger,confusion,pity then anger again as he took a good look at Nicolas recognizing his features in his son.
