Nicole pov

I got out of the cab without looking at him. Rogers and lex took my bags from the cab after paying the fare. The cab driver drove off fearful for his life after rogers spoke to him. They put my bags in the trunk. Jason got back in the driver seat and drove off back home to where they came from. Nobody said a word on the drive back only Nicolas fussing now and then in the long drive home. Lex fell asleep he was seated in front . I didn't sleep i was so frightened i couldn't close my eyes. We arrived at the gates and drove up the driveway after the gate was opened. He parked right in front the door and got out . Rogers and lex got out as well and took my bags from the trunk and headed inside Jason came around and opened the door . I slowly came out it was dark now but I'm sure i made out 2 persons lurking at the corner of the house. He walked inside and i walked hesitantly behind him. Nothing much has change since I left. "This way" lex says as i entered and i saw Jason's back as he closed his office door behind him. I followed lex and he lead me back to Jason's room. "Sorry" he said this is where boss said to put you. "No problem" i said. He continued "How old is he?" lex asks "Only 6 weeks" i said . "What's his name?" he asks . "Nicolas" i answered. "Nice name" he says and chuckles. "Well let me let you get settled in". He walks off.
Jason's pov
I head to my office and close the door after we arrived back home and called millington inside. When he came in i told him to find out all he can about nicole in these past 10 months . He went on the computer and was typing away. Her whole medical history came up from the few days after she ran away to 6 weeks ago when she had this baby. By the looks of it this is definitely my baby. But i already knew that because he looks just like me and she even gave him my middle and last name . She also registered my name as the dad. If she's plans on running again i will make sure she doesn't leave with my son. After i got the update i sent everyone to sleep since it had alot if room here and armed the alarm and went to my room where she and our son was sleeping . I watched her and saw that she got smaller and her eyes were puffy from all the crying. It broke my heart that i was the one doing this to her but i had to make sure it wasnt her even though i knew she wouldn't betray me. I got out of my work clothes and climbed into bed behind her . I felt her body tense up then relaxed after a few minutes. Wasn't she sleeping. Tomorrow is a new day and i know now just who the traitor is . I had a feeling all along was her but i put everything in place and she fell right in the trap. I fell asleep and was awakened hours by my son's crying. I rubbed my eyes and got up and cradled him on my shoulder it was 430 in the morning. Great now i have an early riser. I looked at nicole and she was still fast asleep. I rummaged through her bag till i got his bottle and what not and made a bottle for him while i held him with one hand following the instructions on the tin . One bottle of tea and 2 burns later he is drinking down his tea like he didnt drink for weeks i chuckle to myself as i watch him.
Nicole's pov
I walked in the room and sat down on the bed and made a bed for nicolas and put him down. I went to the bathroom to tidy up and glanced in the mirror to see bags below my eyes. Then I changed into a night gown and laid down next to my baby and was just about to drift to sleep when the door opened. Jason came in . I didn't turn to look at his face but i knew it was him i can smell his perfume he stood there for a few minutes then shuffled like he's changing his clothes moments later he climbed into bed behind me i stiffened my body as i felt him come behind me but i was too tired to complain so i feel asleep quickly. When i woke up i stretched and turned to look for nicolas and he wasn't there. I started panicking where was he i opened the door and ran down the hall to the kitchen and walked in on Jason talking to nicolas as he gave him a bottle. He looked up at me as i came in a little short of breathe. He wasn't angry he was looking at our son with love in his eyes. I just stood there awkward as ever. When Nicolas had enough jason stood up with him and handed him to me. "I'm sorry!" he said and walked out heading to his office . Shocked from his apology i headed back to the room cradling nicolas on my shoulder i made my way back to the room. I stayed there for most of the morning afraid to leave the room since I'm hearing a lot of shouting going on . I heard a female voice which i made out is candy that bitch arguing with someone and Jason voice cutting through the air to tell them shut the hell up. Then silence followed by hushed tones. A little while later there was a knock on the door . I opened the door and there stood lex with an unreadable expression on his face. "Jason wants to see you in his office now" he says and turns and walks off. I sighed and picked up nicolas and walked slowly down the hall to the office. I walked in . Candy, Rogers. Thomas and jason was there. All eyes on me. Except for candy she was glaring at me and when her eyes fell on nicolas she was disgusted. Before jason could say anything. "What's she doing here?" she sneered. Shut the fuck up candy Jason said as he slammed his hand on the desk and stood up. Making me jump and nicolas stirred in my arms before he began to cry. As i started rocking him to soothe him too afraid even look at Jason's face. He began talking as he came out from behind his desk. "Only the persons in this room knew about me killing that fool and the dates and time of the shipments which got lost somehow by the police. The person i originally thought it was who did it turns out to be innocent." Candy face paled. He continued. "Candy you told me Nicole said that she was going to tell the police about me because i wouldn't let her go home and you also said that she's was the one who told the police where the shipments was because you and her were the only two who knew about that. But you made one mistake because the location of the call came from the warehouse on the both dates and nicole wasn't at the warehouse on those occasions , So tell me what am i missing." She started to open her mouth then kept it shut when Rogers took her phone and checked it while she tried to grab it back he brought it to Thomas, who pressed in a code and all the calls and messages she deleted came up . When he showed it to Jason he was so furious he looked like he was ready to burst on the spot. He turned to me and said . Go back to the room . I hurried out since nicolas was done fussy already with all the shouting. I didn't know what went on there after but all i know there was alot of shouting and cursing. I made a bottle for nicolas then i went up to the room since i didn't want to get jason more pissed off i decided to stay inside . Jason's car left . No more shouting outside but I'm sure the guards were here still. I searched around Jason's room looking for something to do while nicolas slept. Hours passed and i was getting so bored again i decided to sleep since nicolas was sleeping now after getting up 2 times already but a newborn sleeps plenty. I awoke to Nicolas crying and i checked the time it was 8.45 wow. I was hungry so i headed to the kitchen. Jason's office door was open, he was back. I didn't hear no talking so i went to the kitchen to make a sandwich. "Do you want me to order take out?" he asks making me jump as he came in the kitchen. "No!"i said. I looked at him he looks tired. He came and took nicolas from me. While i continue to make my sandwich. I made one for him too. We ate in silence. I watched him as he ate he was lost in thoughts. Nicolas stirred and brought him from his thoughts. His face lit up as he saw that nicolas was awake. He looked lovingly at his son as he softly spoke to him. I got up and walked around tidying up. "We need to talk" he said as i turned of the faucet. "Ok!" i answered. "After i get a warm bath" . Ok he said and headed out the kitchen going to his room with Nicolas in hand. He opened the door for me and i walked in. He came and put nicolas down on the bed and sat on the floor by the bed ,watching him play while he talks softly to him. I took my towel and a night gown and headed to the bathroom. Came out a little while later dressed . Jason was just putting nicolas down to sleep. Then he got up and left. I thought to myself he said we need to talk and he's still moving cold. I took the bags and started packing away the clothes in Jason's empty drawer since i wasn't sleepy yet. The door opened and Jason came in looking like he just had a bath. It has approximately 6 bedrooms with showers in this house so he had to use one of them. He had on a black sweat pants and his chest was bare showing his tattoos and scars i couldn't stop looking at his muscular arms and how he looked in that sweat pants. Maybe i was staring too long cause he cleared his throat bringing my attention back to his smug face. I looked away embarrassed. He said "can we talk now or ? "Or what" i asked. He smiled. " Or am i distracting you?" He said as he came up to me and judging by my lost of words he knew he was right. He came up to me pinning me on the cupboard, with his face inches from mines he said. "I've missed you Nic" as he pressed his lips to mines. I moaned as his tongue teased my lips to open for the kiss to deepen. How can someone make you feel so afraid one minute and longing for them the next. I wanted him so bad right now. His hand found its way up my legs sliding my nightgown up pass my waist as he moved his lips to my ear then my neck sending shivers down my spine. My thinking cleared for a while. I need to stop him before things go further. I pushed him slightly. He looked at me with a confused look on his face while he tried to steady his breathing ." Is something wrong?"he asked . " no!" I said trying to catch my breathe too. " We can't do this now" i said while looking at nicolas sleeping. "Ok!" He said and walked to the bed and sat down taking me with him. I studied him like he was searching for what to say. Before he said anything i started. " I'm sorry for not telling you about Nicolas and for running off and making things harder for you". He cut me off. "I'm the one who should be sorry. If i knew you were pregnant believe me things would of been different. I'm sorry for pointing a gun at you and for taking advantage of you and keeping you locked up here. I should of seen from up front that candy was just jealous and was trying to frame you. But i trusted her for so long i didn't think she was capable of doing that. So i believed her when she said those things about you . I'm sorry you had to go through your pregnancy without me. Truth is I love you Nicole and hearing those things broke my heart because i couldn't believe someone i love can do something like that to me." He said all this while i listened with tears running down my face. So he really loves me. The ruthless gang leader who would kill anyone who crosses him is in love with me and I'm in love with him.
