Masons POV
10 years earlier
I'm in my office doing my work when I hear a knock on my door
"Who is it?" I ask still doing my work when the door opens up making me glance up to see my father
"What brings you here, dad?" I ask stopping what I'm doing and I look at him to see him already seated in front of me with a serious look on
"The wedding" he says and I look at him confused "it's back on" He then says when realization hit
"What do you mean it's back on?" I ask "You said that you and Blake agreed on something else" I say
"He broke the deal" he says pissed off
"What deal did you offer him" I demand and he looks around before he turns back around and looks at me
"è meglio parlarne a casa tua" he says and we both get up to leave
(It's better to talk about it at your house)
I put my paperwork and MacBook in my suite case and then leave
"Cancel all my meeting for today" I say to my assistant who came up to me
"Okay, sir" she says leaving to her office
"questo meglio che sia buono" I mumble as we get into the elevator
( this better be good)
3 hours later and we finally reached my house
We get inside where I'm greeted by my maids and we head into my house office, locking it so no one will try to listen nor enter
"Speak" I say with a poker face on as I sit down in my office chair
"The deal we made so we won't kill each other was that his first born won't take over the family business" he says sitting down in front of me
"Isn't his first born Jake? So you want Thea to take over?" I question
"Thea is the first born. They're twins but Thea was born first" he explains but I still don't get why he wouldn't let Thea take over the Castillos business
"Yesterday Around 3 in the morning Luis notified me that someone hacked into our data base and left a message. The message was from the Castillo's, saying that the deal is off and that Thea was going to take over
"I made a meeting with Blake to confirm it which he did and offered me a deal, either the deal that we previously made would go on or Thea becomes leader and will cut ties with us" He said
"I still don't get why she can't take over, it's not like she could do anything to us" I say and he shakes his head no
"Jake and Thea are the Reaper Twins for a reason although Jake is more feared then Thea, Thea is more cold then Jake when it comes to her killings. Now Thea hasn't killed as many as Jake has but when she does strike, she takes down everything" He says and now I get why he doesn't want her as the leader
Everyone is so against Thea taking over cause she could take down everyone that gets in her way or anyone who dares looks at her wrong
"Blake knows this and uses it to his advantages" He then says and I start to rub the side of my forehead before throwing my head back and let out a sigh
