"Jonah it's too fancy why are we here"

"hi reservation for Jonah?" the lady at the front of the restaurant says when he gets there

I have absolutely no idea how this person knew that but oh well

we follow the lady person thing to a table and sit down

I thank her and start to read the menu

"Jonah everything is so expensive"

"you ask way too many questions just read your menu" he laughs

"fine" I pout and start reading the menu

I decide to just get spaghetti and call it a night

the waiter comes and we both order

"Okay now can you tell me why you brought me to someplace so fancy"

"well it's my favorite restaurant and I love the food so I brought you here. plus I feel bad about last night."

"Oh. how did the girl know you from the front"

"oh that's Daniels' sisters' boyfriends' cousins' uncles' wifes' sister"

our food just came and we're eating and talking about our chemistry class

"you know the kid in the back of the class, Ryan," Jonah says

we make it too his car and get in it

"well I was thinking about this a lot and I really like you. and so I was wondering if you would maybe want to go out with me"

"We went out tonight?"

"that's not what I meant" he puts his hand on my thigh and begins to drive

"do you want to be my girlfriend"
