it's the next day at school and last night after i finally found the bathroom it took me forever to find jonah

i really hate big houses.

i eventually found him by the snacks and i was so happy because while i was looking for him i went to where we were dancing and i got trapped between so many couples grinding and making out

but once i found him we enjoyed the rest of the night

"omg did you hear what jonah did" some random girl says

"yes i can't believe that happened. he's a dick" another girl responds

i've been hearing this all day

random people will say things about jonah and him doing something bad at the party

i don't know what they're talking about cause i was with him for most of the night

"and his girlfriends hot too if i was with her i'd never cheat"

i go up to the people who are talking about it and poke one

someone turns and smiles

"how are you holding up" they say patting my shoulder

"um good. i was just wondering what exactly did jonah do" 

"he hasn't told you yet? i'm so sorry. him and his ex were dancing super super close and they ended up on the couch making out. some people even saw them go to a room and when they came out... shirts and hair were a mess"

"wh-which ex?"

"i'm so sorry about that. are you going to confront jonah"

"of course i am"

"well have fun"

i walk away from the group and go straight to jonah's locker

"hello cheater" i say to him as he's opening his locker

"umm what"

"you heard me. so do you want to explain why i'm hearing that you MY boyfriend was dancing and making out with another girl while i was in the bathroom." i cross my arms and he stares at me like i'm crazy

"i have no idea what you are talking about"

"whatever all i know is you promised me you would never  ever cheat on me and what did you do you cheated. and with the one girl i expected"

"it didn't happen though Jess i promise you" he tells me and i roll my eyes

"Oh and now you're lying. you know what i'm done with you jonah. just admit that what you did was wrong and apologize to me for doing it. but you know what yeah i'm mad at you and yeah i hate you but i should've expected it. everyone told me you would break my heart into pieces and guess what you did" i start to cry by now and i try to walk away but he grabs my hand

"babe please don't walk away"

"no you cheated on me and you won't admit it i'm done with you goodbye jonah"

i walk straight home not even caring that schools still going

i just need to sleep and cry

sorry i did that break up/confronting thing fast

i didn't have another way
