After Aiden's remark we went back to eating our food but the tension was still in the air.

"Why do your eyes shift from bluish-green to gold?" I asked him, breaking our somewhat peaceful silence.

"Werewolves' eye color changes to gold means two things. Either they are aroused" he looks at me intently and I blushed, "or they are angry" I downed a glass of water trying to calm myself.

His eyes changed a couple of times and there were times when we were intimate and his eye color changed. Which means one thing.

"Oh- Okay" I tried to make it sound casual but I just spluttered the words making him rub my back.

"Are you okay?" he asks me worriedly as he bit his lip.

That action seemed to eradicate my thinking abilities as I just stared at his lip, daydreaming.

"Rose?" his voice brought me back from my daydreaming as I shook my head and looked at him.

"Yes?"

He chuckled, "You got a little bit of drool" he said as he extended his hand and removed the drool from my mouth using his thumb.

I cleared my throat flustered as I turned my attention on my food and stuffed a mouthful of pancake in my mouth, trying to escape his stare.

We ate while questioning each other about themselves and I was getting to know Aiden more and more. And the more I got to know him, the more I feel attracted to him, he makes me laugh sincerely, smile widely and talk freely. He makes me feel as if I am human again, he makes me feel alive.

I felt full after our breakfast and Aiden guided me out of my chair as we exited the restaurant. Throughout the day, Aiden made me see places I have never seen before. He explained to me the history of the Kingdom, how it was first established, the first Kings and Queens and so on and so forth.

He was also paying attention to the things that makes me happy, he pays attention to my every movement and it warms my heart at his effort in making up to me.

Sadly, Aiden had to cut off our tour when a guard told him that he had important things to tend to. Aiden looked sorry but I assured him that it was okay, he is a King after all and being a King comes with so many responsibilities and duties.

I managed to persuade him to go, saying that I was going to be okay by my own and it gave me an opportunity to be familiar with the place. Before he went, he placed a loving kiss on my forehead before telling me to watch out for myself and I smiled at him.

So with that I continued to explore the Kingdom. I stopped by a boutique when I spotted a gorgeous dress on display. I looked at the dress in awe, it was an elegant dress with gold trimmings and it looked expensive, not that I was planning to buy it.

I was admiring the dress when the owner got out of the store, looking pissed off.

"You! Human! Stop staring at the dress with your filthy eyes!" I was startled at the tone and words of the Lady that I stumbled and landed on the wet and dirty street.

I frowned when I looked at my blouse that was filled with dirt, not to mention it was also wet.

"What are you still doing there? Get out of here!" the Lady yelled as she pointed a finger at me. I was thoroughly embarrassed by her words as people gathered around me.
