Chapter 6

(On the Milano)

Gamora's POV

We just helped out a planet with a monster that was attacking. Peter has just be focusing on helping others to keep his mind off of what could be happening with Galaxy. Its like it was before Galaxy was born and I didnt realize it until now, but Lex made protecting the Galaxy mean something. To me it was to show my daughter that you can do anything no matter if your a girl or boy and it didnt matter what you look like. I just hope she remembers that and hopefully it will help her where she is now.

"I am Groot." Groot says and climbed onto my lap.

"Sure. Lets try to call her." I say.

I grabbed the communicator and Groot spoke.

"I am Groot... I am Groot.." Groot says.

There was nothing,but static. Though Groot didnt give up.

"I think she might not have it with her." I say.

"I am Groot." He says sadly before going elsewhere.

I know Galaxy can handle herself. I just hope she is okay and not in any danger.

(On Earth)

Galaxy's POV

"Can you just go back to space. We dont want space scum in our town." Some guy says.

"Yeah. Space whore. Go home." Another guy says.

I didnt really respond and they got in front of me. I had to control my anger cause Im my father's daughter not to mention Im also my mother's daughter. We are all known to fight people who would try to mess with us.

"Reggie, Chuck, get away from her. She didnt do anything." Someone says.

"Why Andrews? Why protect the space bitch?" The one named Reggie question.

"She didnt do anything to you. So back off." Archie says.

The other guys walked away from us and Archie then looked over at me.

"Thank you. Why are they so rude?" I ask.

"Well your welcome and they just dont like the idea of well... Aliens. I know you have been here for about a week now, but Reggie and Chuck said they would try to scare you guys off after a week here." He says.

"Whatever." I say.

I walked away from him and went to find Gia. Though it would seem she was fitting in alot better then me. Why arent people hating her like they are me? I left the school and went to Betty's house and her mom was inside working. I quietly started to head upstairs when she stopped me.

"Hey Space girl." Alice says.

"Yes. Mrs.Cooper?" I question.

"There was some weird voices coming from your room earlier. It was alittle odd." She says.

"What was said?" I ask.

"Just someone saying I am Groot over and over again." She says.

"Well thanks for telling me." I say.

"Your welcome." She says.

I went into the room I was staying in and grabbed my communicator.

"Hello.. Is anyone there?" I ask.

It was just silences and I felt just sad. Maybe Im not cut out to be here on Earth. God Im... My thought was interrupted by someone knocking on the door.

"Lexi can I come in." Betty says.

"Umm sure." I say.

"Hey sorry to bother you I wanted to see if you wanted to talk about, what are you holding? And why do you look so sad?" She asks.

"Its a communicator and its how Im suppose to be able to talk to my family. They just arent answering and now its just making me alittle homesick." I say.

"Like you want to go home?" She asks.

"Yeah kinda. I just miss it you know. I love being around the stars in the sky with my family around. I miss my dad playing his mother's favorite songs. I miss my mom being tricked into dance with him. I miss Uncle Kraglin and Aunt Neblua trying to prove who knows how to get to other planets faster. I miss Uncle Drax and Aunt Mantis being just random and weird. I miss Uncle Rocket and is feisty personality. I miss my kinda brother Groot the most though cause he is just a sweetest little thing. Being homesick sucks." I say.

"Well Im sorry your homesick. Im guess the thing that happened with Reggie and Chuck really made it worse. Lex things will be better just dont try to leave so soon." She says.

She walked out and didnt know what that meant, but I still felt homesick and I know its been a week, but I just dont know if I want to be here anymore.
