Chapter 17

Galaxy's POV

I took Archie to my parents and the rest of team to tell them that we know how to get to our friends. Though they will be pretty pissed to learn I left a communicator on earth with a boy.

"Okay first things first we have to find out where they are and then we have to figure out why they did it." My mom says.

"Not just why. We also need to know what they plan to do next." My dad says.

"All I know is I dont think taking teenagers from Earth wasnt the whole plan." Rocket says.

I walked up with Archie and quickly dropped his hand before anyone noticed.

"Hey guys there is something you should know." I say.

"Is it that you left you communicator with this guy and when he got captured they took it? Cause if so we already know." Rocket says.

"Wow he's good. For a raccoon anyway." Archie says.

"I am not a raccoon!" Rocket yells.

"Yes you are and Im not surprised that your a jerk." Archie says.

"What did you say!" Rocket yells and goes to attack Archie, but I pushed him back.

"Dont you dear touch him." I say.

"You know Red she cant protect you forever." Rocket says.

Rocket walked away and some of the others followed him. Leaving just me, my parents, and Archie.

"Okay listen. We will help you get to your friends and we will keep you safe. Then we will get you home safe and sound. We promise." My mom says.

"Thank you ma'am." Archie says.

"Please call me Gamora. Any friend of my daughter's is a friend of mine." My mom says.

"Thank you Gamora. You are very kind. Now I know where Galaxy got that." Archie says.

"Your sweet. Now if you'll excuse me we have humans to find." My mom says and left us.

My dad was just looking at Archie. Up and down. Up and down. He clearly was not happy.

"You arent someone I like. I dont trust you. I dont like you and once we are done. You will never see my baby girl ever again." My dad says.

"Dad really? Im not a child anymore." I say.

"As long as your on this ship you will follow my rules." My dad says and then walked away.

Archie then faced me looking very worried and nervous.

"I dont know what worries me most the fact that our friends are in danger or the fact that if Im not careful here your family just might kill me. Well mostly the raccoon, your dad, and that ting tree... Who is watching us now." Archie says.

"Groot please leave us alone." I say.

"I am Groot." Groot says.

"Woah.. Language. You shouldnt be talking like that." I say.

"What did he say?" Archie asks.

"You dont want to know." I say.

"I am Groot. I am Groot. I am Groot." Groot says.

"Okay why do I get the feeling like he is mocking." Archie says.

"He is. Come on lets go to my room." I say.

I took Archie to my room and Groot quickly went the other way. Archie then looked around my room and then went to my window.

"Now I see why you were so homesick. This view.. Its beautiful." Archie says.

"Yeah. I love it. Archie, about what happened back on Earth. I want you to know that..." I say, but he cut me off.

"Let me guess. You like me and care about me, but you being from space and never gonna truly be excepted on earth. You dont think we could be together." He says.

"Yes thats true. Thats why I had Mantis stop me from feeling things, but then you came back into my life and everything came rushing back. The happiness, the comfort, the love, the sadness, the empty feeling that I can never see you again. You have no idea how hard this is for me." I say.

"I do. I feel those same feelings. Also you said love in there. Do you love me?" He asks.

I wanted to answer his question when my door opened and my dad walked in with Groot.

"You get out of here now." My dad says.

Archie quickly walked out and went into the spare room.

"Dad what the hell! You cant just yell at him like that. He did nothing to you." I say.

"I over heard what you said. Now you cannot love him. You just cant." My dad says.

"And if I do love what are you going to do about it?" I question.

"I am Groot." Groot says.

"You wouldnt." I say to my dad.

"I did not say I would kill him. I said I would leave him in open space with no suit." My dad says.

"Ugh your a pain you know that." I say.

"And Im your father. So deal with it and another thing.." He says, but stops.

"Quill, were here." Rocket says.

I looked out the window and saw a Kree ship and a couple of Sovereign ones. Looks like it war time.
